Sheesh, the military has enough fvcking druggies already...go build wal-marts or something that has no drug test policy nor does background checks..., and leave the defeending of the country to those who are smart enough NOT to post their every waking thought on a board like this...

I read the first couple of pages, but not through all the seven pages, could race/creed be involved? Was she of a different ethnicity than you?

We've GOT to hear the EXACT conversation, verbatim. You know? I said this, then he said that. The ENTIRE conversation. It's very apparent you already know it won't sound good on your part, right?

Ok from the beginning.

Same clerk a few weeks ago denied both my friend and I alcohol. It was his bday party. We were both above 21 and completely sober.

He says are you drunk? We are like... what??? Then he says I'm not gonna sell the alchohol to you.

This happened a couple of different times, I ignored them all and left without saying much at all.

The last time he said hey.. you're the drunk guy!!!

That just pissed me off. I'm never drunk on the job. Thats BS. I was there at 12 PM getting FOOD. So I called him a jerk. Its pretty obvious this guy had it out for me.

Why would you still be doing business there then?

You asked for it, I wouldn't have waited around for the cops personally - I would have thrown a 12 pack of beer on the floor and said "Eat that fvcker". But I would have done that the first time he refused to sell to me, and then I would have never returned (obviously)

Thats just me.

She could yell at him and be harsh, but knocking him to the floor getting up on him? For contradicting her? Fire her ass.

To a great extent I agree with you, Forsythe. I found the police in Europe much more professional and non-violent.

It seems here the police have a policy to violently take you down, no matter what. This application to citizens, even if non-violent is flat-out wrong IMHO. I fail to see why even yelling at a police officer should result in getting your a$$ kicked. If you or someone else yelled at me and I reponded like that I'd be in jail and likely facing a civil lawsuit.

I just try to avoid them. Seems the OP has never watched the TV show "Cops" or whatever its called. If I hear somebody is calling the cops, whether it's on me or not, I get the "F" outta there.

EDIT: I'm starting to think I must have some problem with authority. I just can't go along so easily with the "obey" the cops thingy and don't argue. Jeez, its like being some kind of second-class citizen, or being cowed into submission vis-avis intimidation.

Debate may now begin as to whether Proletariat was owned by himself, life, the cops, or the Mod.

It's also one of the most humerous I have seen in a while

I'm very disappointed though - injuries include large scrapes/gashes on both knees, bruise on head, stiches on hand, and handcuff cuts.

I have no criminal record.

Most normal cops are really dumb. I had a cop pull me over once who couldnt even subtract my speed from the speed limit to tell me how much I was going over. She was like, "You were going, 12, i mean 17, wait... 19 MPH over the speed limit..." So I said, "Mam, which is it? 12, 17, or 19?" She replied, "Don't get smart with me or I'll cuff you and put you in the squad car." I replied, "I'm sorry, I couldn't possibly get smart with you," but she didn't get the joke and actually though I was trying to be polite after the fact.......damn ditz... Seriously, the right amount of power in the dumb enough hands can be really dangerous. Oh, I also got out of the ticket because the cop didn't even show up to court .

Uh.....

I still think some details are missing.

Most assuredly.

No I'm being serious thats all.

I have never disrespected a police officer in my life and I have NO criminal record.

Do you people not believe police brutality exists?

You surely did disrespect the officer when you started arguing with her. You also disrespected the store clerk. The store is not obligated to sell you anything. You don't like that rule and started arguing. Sounds like you got what you deserved.

So, because he politely argued with her and she freaked out, she has the right to induce wounds to him by throwing him to the floor?
Dude, you have a screwed up sense of reality.
Sounds like the cop freaked out for some reason, as she was hysterical the moment she came over to him.

What a bunch of politically rascist bastards live in ATOT. Especially BigJ.

No, he got his ass beat because he

1) disobeyed a direct order from a cop ("GTFO the store")
2) continued to argue with her
3) disobeyed another direct order ("Stop right the F there")

What did I say that is racist? Wait, don't answer that, I'm sure you'll just come up with some stupid-ass rational.

No, it isn't. If you're going to make up terms at least have them make sense. Say political discrimination or something similar because racism has no bearing here.

Discrimination is too kind, it's not the word i'm looking for. Besides, it doesn't have all the sides the word racism does.

Anyways, this dosen't matter, it's my choosing of word so you can't do anything about it.

To tell you the truth, if you walked into a store I owned and I asked if you were drunk and you said "what??" I wouldn't sell you alcohol either because it means you are too god damn stupid to answer a yes/no question and don't need to drink or you are already drunk

He probably said "you're the drunk guy!!!" because you stumbled in or did something stupid... Store Managers just aren't gonna throw customers out for no reason, that is their way of getting $$

Ugh, this is ridiculous, Im not reading this whole thread, but to the OP...I seriously wonder what the hell you were thinking. So let me get this straight, store manager calls police on you, and yet you stuck around long enough for them to show up. You must be incredibly stupid or incredibly stubborn. What were you hoping to get out of it??? "Yea, lets wait for the popo so they can tell you a thing or two to make you sell to me what I came here to buy" Is this seriously the only store you shop at or something, or do they have some sort of special twinkies that no other store has???? You could have used that time waiting for the police officers by instead going to another store and getting what you need.

I may be saying this in hindsight, but most in here would not stick around for the police to show up after the call because the problem and the police are not worth it to deal with. So I say you had it coming to you. Refusing to go to the store anymore, or getting others not to give that store business, hell even keying his car when no one is looking would have been brighter things to do than to wait for cops to show up on a property thats not even yours.
