He says the system works for the cops.

At this point I haven't done anything except filed a brutality report with Internal Affairs.

I'm very disappointed though - injuries include large scrapes/gashes on both knees, bruise on head, stiches on hand, and handcuff cuts.

I have no criminal record.

Please give me the officer's name, badge number, department, and supervisor's name. Also give me an address that a bottle of wine and a gift basket can be sent.

Thanks.

same here. this guy deserves what he got just based on his posts here.

Why did you mention that you weren't being political? What does that have to do with anything?

It's legal anywhere to refuse service to a customer. It's their store. It's private property. How long were you there arguing with the guy and waiting for the cops to show up? What did you tell the cops, "he's a jerk and won't sell me food"? Why did you disobey an order and argue with a cop? Has that ever worked for anyone?

Based on the info you gave, you're lucky they didn't arrest you. I know it sucks, but I've been in your shoes with a bad clerk but I did have the sense to just leave when asked. I didn't wait around to argue with the cops.

That still doesn't justify being beat up. Were there any cameras?

I for one don't believe you. You're a troll, and I think you're trolling with a fake story right now.

I didn't get arrested or charged with anything.

I was completely polite when arguing with the officer. I was not aware of the law at all.

Well my name in real life is Nick I doubt she knew my ATOT handle

i was kidding about that part

but after reading your story, i was serious about my response to what happened to you

you seem to have a problem with authority

employee of a private business tells you to leave private property, sounds like tresspassing to me

then you want to argue with a police office, yeah, that works all the time

:camera: of injuries to add some believability?

From what it sounds like, you were being a jerk in with the leaving business, but the officer went overboard with the getting you to leave (since at that point, you were in the process of leaving).

Asking my friend on IM right now.

He took pics with his nice Dig Camera. I only have a cell phone cam.

Shouldn't have been spreading that commie b.s.

Seriously, hope it works out for you man.

I honestly look like a normal guy. I was in my work clothes - Dockers Khakis and a dress shirt.

I wasn't saying anything political. The clerk at a Shoppers Food Warehouse was repeatedly rude to me. I called him a jerk. He refused to sell anything to me (apparently its legal here). I call BS. He calls police. Policewoman gets their side of the story (I was on the other side of the room) then comes over and just tells me rudely to get out. I politely argue with her telling her my side of my story. She gets hysterical and just keeps saying get out. After a minute I listen to her and leave, then she says stop, obviously fvcking with me. Knocks me to the ground from behind. I didn't know what happened I unconciously tried to get up. She pulls my hair throws me to the ground again a couple times on the concrete then handcuffs me. Takes me home in car with my car still in the lot. I say this is illegal. She says what you gonna say? A couple of girls beat you up? I say first of all I'm not gonna hit a woman second of all not a police officer.

what were you talking about that got the clerk mad?

i am just saying that if I was told leave a private business, i would
and if a police officer asked me to leave a private business, i would without "politely arguing"

but your approach seemed to work for you, to each his own

Meh sounds like a white-washed version of events. If you truly had a case, your lawyer would be able to subpeona the store tapes and witnesses. Sounds like your lawyer doesn't think you have a case, which is pretty amazing in today's sue-happy society.

And give me a break- politely argue enough for a store to call the cops on you? Right- you were probably being a smartass d*ck. It takes what, 10 or 15 minutes for the cops to show up and you're still in the damn store.

Then you "politely argue" enough to get the cop pissed at you? Sounds like you were being an ass again and you're still dumb enough not just to leave.

IMO- if the cop didn't beat you down, I'd hope someone else witnessing would have on principle.
