I'm 6'3" 200lbs, great shape, 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and I carry either a Sig 228 or a Kimber Ultra Compact every day.

People should take charge of their own defense. I never expect the police to help me out of a jam. I've helped police officers several times, ironically, to detain a resisting individual.

not to gang up on nebor or anything but what were you doing helping the police detain someone? i mean shouldnt you get the necessary written authorization to do that?

He says the system works for the cops.

At this point I haven't done anything except filed a brutality report with Internal Affairs.

I'm very disappointed though - injuries include large scrapes/gashes on both knees, bruise on head, stiches on hand, and handcuff cuts.

I have no criminal record.

Please give me the officer's name, badge number, department, and supervisor's name. Also give me an address that a bottle of wine and a gift basket can be sent.

Thanks.

same here. this guy deserves what he got just based on his posts here.

This is more proof that ATOT can be a serious cesspool... you sound like a walking piece of sh1t

You people fvcking disgust me, may the worst happen to all of you.

To the op, I'm really sorry, that shouldn't happen to anyone. The system does, however, work on the police's side. Did the store perhaps have a security camera which captured everything?

The responses here disgust you, and then you go ahead and make a post like this?

Sorry if not everyone here takes the word of someone who committed the following:

Trespassed
Disturbed the Peace
Resisted Arrest

and not to mention, Disobeyed a Direct Order from a LEO (more than once mind you), which is a ticketable offense.

You expect the cops to play nice when you try to resist being arrested?

Maybe I missed something, but how did he resist arrest if he was never arrested and the police officer never said 'You're under arrest' but simply said 'stop'.

After refusing a direct order from a police officer, he was subdued and they were placing the cuffs on him. Had the police officers actually gone through and formally arrested him instead of simply restraining him, he could've been charged with resisting arrest.

Cops are allowed to be dirty and rough people up who never laid a hand on them and never threatened them? You are lost or have LEO's in your bloodline.. You have a sickness if you think they should be allowed to do whatever they want or if you try to make excuses like that...

I guess you must come from a long line of convicts if you think people should be allowed to forcefully resist being restrained by a LEO without expecting to get a rough treatment.

See how easy it is to make assumptions?

Look at it this way. You're an LEO who was just come to a store where a manager is complaining about a beligerent customer, you've witnessed him yelling at an employee, he has failed to obey direct orders you've given him, he's wised off to you and your partner, and he's failing to respond to the command you just gave him (again). You attempt to restrain him and he resists, are you going to play patty-cake with him, or are you going to give him the rough treatment?

Hmm.

What I'm wondering is why the Officer didn't arrest him for trespassing, and issue him a ticket for disobeying a police officer.

On top of that, like others have said, any half decent lawyer would be able to talk to the store management, get the video tapes, and have witnesses testify to the police brutality.

And if you're wearing Khakis, how are you getting gashes on your knees?

Shens-ational.

Um because I hit the ground with a 135 pound police officer on my back and a 210 pound fatass officer on my back?

DUDE. that hurts.

So now it was two officers?

Meh it was always two, the second only joined in afterwards so I don't want to implicate her in police brutality because it might ruin her career or something.

I wasn't saying anything political. The clerk at a Shoppers Food Warehouse was repeatedly rude to me. I called him a jerk. He refused to sell anything to me (apparently its legal here). I call BS. He calls police. Policewoman gets their side of the story (I was on the other side of the room) then comes over and just tells me rudely to get out. I politely argue with her telling her my side of my story. She gets hysterical and just keeps saying get out. After a minute I listen to her and leave, then she says stop, obviously fvcking with me. Knocks me to the ground from behind. I didn't know what happened I unconciously tried to get up. She pulls my hair throws me to the ground again a couple times on the concrete then handcuffs me. Takes me home in car with my car still in the lot. I say this is illegal. She says what you gonna say? A couple of girls beat you up? I say first of all I'm not gonna hit a woman second of all not a police officer.

So I guess there was one small woman, and one 210lb fatass woman?

ROFLMAO

Most assuredly.

No I'm being serious thats all.

I have never disrespected a police officer in my life and I have NO criminal record.

Do you people not believe police brutality exists?

I for one don't believe you. You're a troll, and I think you're trolling with a fake story right now.

Honestly I don't give a fvck what you think.

Why don't you suck me nerd?

I don't think Proletariat was actually detained or arrested by the police, at least that is not what I read in his posts. Sounds to me he was roughed up unnecessarily by these LE's by what I am reading.

You know I do recall once seeing on TV, it was a news report... of a 14 year old girl handcuffed to a metal bench that was bolted to a floor in a holding sell. Yes, she was pissed and beligerent to the cop who was sitting across from her at his desk shouting all sorts of obscenities as the tape showed, however the cop got pissed that she wouldn't shut up physically grabbed her threw her in such a manner to the floor that the arm cuffed to the bench got twisted in such a manner as to break... she was screaming "oh god, my arm, my arm!" and the cop kept saying "I don't give a damn about your arm, I'll break it off if I have to, you shut your mouth and show some respect"... later they showed her parents filing a lawsuit, and her arm in a sling.

It stuff like that, that makes me believe this post by Proletariat. I really don't care if the girl was shouting obscenities to the cop, she was handcuffed, restrained, probably very scared and freaked out... and people do all sorts of things when they are scared. It is human to act out when put in these type situations, and the cops are suppose to be trained to deal with these type human reactions. They are not to become abusive in that way to someone who is already restrained, or to someone who has been asked to leave, who is already complying then gets pummled to the ground as Proletariat has stated in his posts.

Cops don't generally get rough unless something sets them off; especially not over something as trivial as the circumstances you've described. I can only guess that your smart mouth got you in trouble again and you got your deserved reward.

Proletariat.... You should know best of all 80% of ATOT'ers are complete asshats. I've read your posts and respect your credibility. I would NOT just let it go. Ignore the generic "you had it coming crowd". I have no respect for people like that. I would walk right into the station with your cuts and demand to speak to someone. They could get the officer who tackled you and you could confront her in the station.

I like Cops for the most part but I've ruin into assholes in my time and have been a victim of Police Brutality. Of course nothing came of it because the cops closed ranks as did the DA's office. That's life, most cops have an "Us vs Them" mentality which is understandable considering that they are always targets for the publics ire unless they are helping someone.

No, you did not deserve to get your ass kicked.

However, you could have easily prevented this situation by:
A) Leaving when asked - I can't believe anyone thinks a business owner is REQUIRED to do business with them

and
B) Don't go back to a place after receiving poor treatment there. Twice.

Man I have tons of online video tapes of police brutality where the cops get suspension with pay upon pending investigation, and then follow up reports where later they are back on the job! Nope, LE will always back their men in blue... it is sort of a losing battle unless you can get some serious news coverage and take it to a civil court room.
