Police in Providence have an inbound train from Boston surrounded right now.

Seems there's up to 4 Arab people that are suspects onboard. I'm watching unedited video right now, but nothing definite yet???

It was on a "Special Report" (they cut into the national news) here in RI. The station was ABC ch 6 WLNE in Providence.

There's another one coming now.

Yea,I was just there,cops everywhere with guns drawn. They rushed me right the hell out of the area. I drive a cab part time and was there looking fior passengers. I couldn't get any info except someone told me it had something to do with a suitcase being found ina hotel.

Okay there's 50-60 squad cars at the Amtrack station right in downtown Providence. There's also bomb squads, and US marshalls. Info is very vauge. 2-3 detained, looking for 1-5 suspects. They won't let the news guys in. So it's all spotty right now. They came right from South Station in Boston. Trying to escape the Boston police it seems.

They won't allow anyone in, or out (including passengers standing outside on the platform!!!) at all due to the possibility of escape.

I'll post more as I hear it.

Just flipped on the TV (doh! on CNN!), they were showing a train. And have on the bottom of the screen something about an Amtrak train being surrounded.

Not much more info. FBI, bomb sniffing dogs, guns drawn, etc.

There's tons of people looking over at it from overpasses, the streets around it are shut down, and they are still saying 2-3 detained.

Like I said. It's spotty, cause no one can get in there???

Is it a real Amtrak train (for the NE corridor) or one of the Commuter Rails that go from Providence to Boston? This is really weird, the Pro->Boston track goes right behind my house and I take the Commuter Rail into Boston when I am in school... Damn.

Sorry guys I just don't know if it's a regular rail, or commuter.

However there is a real conformation that they have 3 suspects in custody, and people (police also) are shouting "they're going to jail". They just hustled em out the front, but the media is stuck around the other side behind a fence. I think they are purposely sheilding their faces from the cameras for some reason.

Dang the one of the cops had what looked like a semi-auto rifle slinged over his shoulder!!! That's not a normal Providence police type thing.

Then over 100 people chased the cop car down through the streets on foot yelling they were gonna kill the guy. The police couldn't even stop em. If there were less cops I'm sure the guy would have been torn limb from limb, and the guy is just a suspect right now!!!

They're waiting now to take out the other two, due to this.

Okay they just said they did get another suspect out also. That's all I know now.

The mayor is gonna give a speech now.
