He's calling out people that have made choices in life--not born as something or into circumstances that they can't control. Yet, you predictably don't understand the distinction. You want him to be racist and stereotyping, when nothing could be further from his comments.
What he criticizes is something that is possible in all of us. He specifically targets those that have chosen poorly, whether through personal misery, terrible choices in life, or just weak brains that have formed perfect vessels for exploitation of those most craven--the GOP doesn't exist without that kind of crowd, and you know it. They would have no other power without the weak-minded, fear-prone ripe for exploitation.
And these are all personal decisions that people make for whatever reasons they choose. These are adults making terrible decisions in their lives, and so stark criticism is warranted. Unless, you think you were born a bed-wetting republican just like a black person was born black. Do you think that makes any kind of sense?
