I think the b1tch deserved it.
WHY the fvck would you not blow?
Well my attorney says that if you're guilty, you should refuse all tests. Including the blood test @ the station. By the time they get a court to force the test on you, you will be sober.

I hope she files a lawsuit and the Ottowa Hills PD goes after the cop to pay for the settlement. That kind of behaviour is intolerable.
Pig  (just that cop)
A lawsuit for what? I doubt she was injured. They probably threw out her ticket and that's pretty damn generous.

They did throw out the ticket. I agree that she probably wasn't injured. Looked like he just subdued her. Only thing hurt was her feelings.

Hence the reason, "The first thing we should do is kill all the lawyers." What wonderful ethics (and rather close aiding and abetting a crime) your lawyers has

It's a shame cops like these color the brush all cops get painted with. As with most groups, the average cop isn't like the ones we see on the news.
I've been hassled by cops. I wasn't happy about it at the time. Then again, I deserved it. I knew it then, but wasn't mature enough to admit it - even to myself. It sounds like this woman didn't deserve it, but I just can't stand the anti-police flamefests these posts end up turning into. Cops are people too - people that are keeping your house from being robbed while you're at work; people that work every day of the year; people that work all hours of the day, and generally don't make a great living doing so. Does that give them a free pass on stuff like this? Not even close. Should it mean that the average cop busting your ass for the dime bag on your front seat you didn't even try to hide deserves your derision because you broke the law? No.

They made the guy resign, what more do you want from them? They can't go back in time with their newfound knowledge and fire him before it happened. The taxpayers of the town shouldn't have to pay so she can get rich for being a bitch.
Sue the officer, maybe, but not the town. I hate how people look at anything bad that happens to them as a get rich quick opportunity. I don't have audio, but I didn't see anything on that tape worth suing over.

 What in the name of God does being annoyed have to do with physical roughing someone up? Absolutley ridiculous. She threw a fricking ticket out the window. BFD. The officer simply should have wrote another ticket for littering and kept writing them until she stopped throwing them out the window or arrested her for disorderly conduct after the third or fourth ticket.
Also, didn't the officer know that he was being filmed by his car?
Also, how in the name of God does one woman throwing a ticket out the window translate into "god damn bitches. Again ... ridiculous

WHY the fvck would you not blow? Then on top of that, disrepecting him by throwing the ticket out the window.
If I was him, I'd be thinking, "man... that was sooooo worth it, lol."

The lawyer is pulling the race card (see the quote from the slideshow). I wish the cop would beat his ass to for that. If she wasn't black, wahhhhhh cry me a fvcking river, red, white, pink, blue, or orange, he was going to snap one way or another.

Complete BS. Cops are not prevent any significant amount of crime.

I don't think the race card should have been pulled either but you seem like one of the growing legions of ATOT (or heck citizens in general) who are SO anti-race, that anytime the card is pulled, even when completely valid, you dismiss the case. No questions asked. You (all) should be very careful with this.

My own feeling is that this woman is hardly a model citizen, and what she did was stupid, but the officer completely overreacted, and used significant force in a situation that required none. No decent police officer would do what he did, and if he is this lacking in composure he shouldn't be wearing a uniform. The department has, IMO, reacted appropriately (if anything I'm surprised and impressed they are so willing to admit he acted wrongfully), but they will still end up settling this case for a significant amount to get her to shut up, and to remove the case from the spotlight. I can live with that, even if it's a windfall to the "victim."

exactly...you have right to be upset by getting a ticket, but to throw it out the window is disrespectful.
