2) I don't believe in God. I don't care what other people believe in, as long as they don't push it on me.

3) I don't care much for any President, although I am a Democrat. I don't care about US Government at all really -- to me local State government matters (and affects me) more.

Mostly the same, though I really don't care about any of it at all. I think State is more important though.

4) I believe in Gay unions. I think that marriage and civil unions should be separate entities.

Don't care either way. It's their lives.

5) I secretly wish that Texas would leave the Union, just for the lols.

Most of the south needs to leave. It's all redneck trash.

So what do you think ATOT? Should I pack my bags and leave to Australia or something? Or am I so un-American, that I am more American than people who think they are more American than me?

Probably because I don't know anyone there...and I only ever hear about the messed up things they do. (Killing innocents, throwing puppies off cliffs, etc.)

So you can't have compassion for someone you don't know? They're humans too, just like you. The military also keeps this country safe.

You do hear about the messed up things sometimes on the news, but all the good things they do aren't news because they're not news/drama-worthy for the media. Regardless, it doesn't take much brains to figure that the puppy killing ones are in the minority.

i'm the same way, I don't care about the troops anymore than I care about other people around the world that I don't know. It doesn't make me care more simply because they are American. Obviously I hope they are safe and don't die but that's the same for almost everyone....

For the most part, I agree with what you've said, only I DO care about the troops serving in Iraq...enough so that I want to see them brought home where they might live a long, full life...instead of becoming bits and parts of the Iraqi landscape that have to be scraped up with a stick and a spoon for the family to bury.
(I saw enough of that in Vietnam to last 100 lifetimes)

I beileve that MOST cops and firemen are good, dedicated people who care about the job they do, with a few bad apples thrown into every department.

I do NOT care about any president except the bad ones...who I think should be (or should have been) criminally charged...(Nixon, Reagan, & Bush)

I personally don't care about gays in the slightest, nor do I see how two homosexuals of either gender getting married affects MY marriage in any way.

I'm just not sure about the whole "GAWD" thing. IF there is such a creator, where did "HE" come from and what was here before here came to be? Also, why would such an omnipotent, all-powerful being even acknowledge us or want our worship anymore than I want the acknowledgement/worship from an ant or microbe?

Lastly, I strongly support the Texan idea of building a wall around the state...then patrolling it to prevent any of them from escaping.
