**POLL** Apple G5 case vs ALienware

there is a big ongoing discussion here about the new g5 and there has been a lot of talk about there new case. so, would you rather have a G5 case or the new Alienware? try to keep the bias towards one company or the other limited when trying to decide!

personally, i think that the alienware case is insanely creative so it gets my vote

I am not an Apple fan, but I think the Alienware computers are ugly and overpriced. The G5 may be overpriced and slower than my custom system, but at least it looks cool and it is very clean (no wires, etc.). Too bad Dell and the other PC manufacturers can't make their systems as clean cut as the Apples... I guess what is needed is a computer designed by Apple, but that uses Windows and Intel/AMD processors. ::Sigh::

Let me try and find a good picture. I know in Maximum PC this month they have a VoodooPC review compared to an Alienware and a Dell. The Voodoo looks great and has an awesome cooling system which they say "..uses neither conventional water-cooling nor phase-change technology."

In the picture you can see that watever the radiator is, it is the size of a large 80mm fan. If I cannot find a good picture, I will just take a picture of it with my digital camera and post a link.

I voted for the G5 case but I do one reservation about it. As far as I can tell there is only one bay for optical drives. Is this correct? Otherwise I think that the G5 is very sexy for a computer case.

I would not want a corny Alienware case under my desk. The G5 is one of the few Macs that look interesting to me. I voted for Packard Bell.
