you bump my car on purpose and i'll make sure you never drive again.
you might not be able to eat solid food or walk again either...
if you have to hit the cars around you when you parrallel park, then you don't know how to drive.
tell him he's a jackass and to stay out of my part of the world

My friend once did this. We parked on the street to go eat at some place. No cars on the street when we parked.

Come back outside and he is boxed in with NO possible way to get out without hitting the cars behind and in front of him. So he "bumps" the cars out.

There are advantages to having a POS neon

ok, now I have to ask, how the hell did he pass his driver's exam? Did he argue the cone represented the bumper and he was just bumping it?

Kinda like a friend of mine who used to think stop signs were just a recommendation...then he failed his driver's exam and learned the hard way.

I hdought bumpers are supposed to be rated to prevent damage at ep to 5mph .... so ... If you bump something (which you should never ever ever ever do on purpose) ... you wont kill your front end (or back end)

ROLL BARS ARE THOSE THINGS YOU SEE ON 80S PICKUPS AND SOME MIATAS THAT PROTECT YOU IF THE VEHICLE ROLLS OVER.

According to that one Bond movie ... Goldeneye I think
"Use the bumper, thats what its there for" as the bad guy drives down a crowded alley to catch up to Bond.

But no, just don't bump. Unless you both got giant steel bumpers.

I said yes because I thought the poll was a joke, but of course not. If I saw some idiot bumping my car I'd ask them to stop trying to park. If you need to hit cars to park you suck at parking!

You should not use your bumper regularly, but there have been situations where I HAD to in order to get out.

If you park too close to me, and I cant get out, expect me to bump your car.

Because I agree that we have bumpers for a reason, and if you are trying to parellel park and you nudge an adjacent car, it's not a big deal.

But I STRONGLY disagree that that implies that you SHOULD bump the cars next to you. You should avoiding hitting other cars at all costs.

You are right.

If you live or work in any major city, that's the reality of the situation.

Your friend isn't too bright, huh?

I wonder what if he thinks hot dogs are made out of dogs.
