POLL: Are You A Christian???

jackburton is resorting to offending people rather than discussing his belief system in detail. He has no rational logic to defend his statements. wacko. All I have heard from you is hate, praise the fairies, how to add A+B, then posting a link that you know will offend many of those very people coming to thread. That is not only immature, its rude, and inappropriate. Its people like you that preach hate that taint the minds of others. You are apparently a child of little faith. At least that is what has been displayed so far. I mean, to say you hate christians in the context that you did shows the lack of conscious that you have. Many, many christians are do gooders that do good in good faith. They go out of their way to do good things for people, and its people like this, no matter their motivation, that make this planet a great place to be.

I was raised catholic, and I too am not very happy with the organization and manipulation seen in that sector of christianity. I have not had much time to fully explore the bounds of christianity. If I was raised buddhist, I might see things a little differently, but I would still be of my faith. However, as a follower of Christ's ways, and a believer that his purpose in life was to die for us, I will not bash those of other peaceful religions.

people like jackburton need to have some light put into their life. You might hate me, but I dont hate you. I just feel sorry for you.

I just chuckle when non-christians get offended when they are told they are going to hell and are not saved by works when they just spent 5 minutes telling you how they don't believe in that stuff, yet they are still offended... lol.

So all non christians cannot go to heaven?

People hate the way Christians blabber on, such as you have in this thread, about being christian and how much you wish we were all christians so we could understand.

Then there is the pity you pour on the non-christians, jeez, give me a break. Don't waste your time worring about my belief system. If you are so happy in yours why do you feel the need to justify it all the time?

So one should not defend their faith? I am sorry if I felt the need to say something to someone who calls themselves a christian hater and resolved to saying that we might as well be worshipping fairies.

Anybody else notice that when someone finds a flaw in a christian, they lay the blame on the fact that they are a christian. Oh, I blabbered on, and since I am a christian, the flaw comes from the fact that I am a christian. lol.

And I still can't believe people have the gall to fault me for sticking up for what I believe in. As a satellite looking in on the situation I laugh and the intelligence being displayed during this conversation. Its so easy to hate, and since U don't understand someone or get irritated when they try and discuss something U hate them. Shallow, immature, and ignorant people love to hate. Open minded, intelligent, knowledge seeking people hate to hate and learn to love.

I had a roommate who didn't believe in christianity. But he was a wise person in that he openly admitted his disbelief was from simply not being able to understand how I put my faith in christ. he just didn't see it. However, he never branded me or faulted me for it, he just didn't understand how I can believe. This is why I don't fault others for their belief systems. One of my best friends is muslim. We even believe in the same god. our only difference is that he thinks christ was a prophet, while I believe he was the one. Even as a muslim he wouldnt dare fault someone for following christs ways.

Also, don't mistake my ability to defend my faith as blabbering on and on about it. I just don't think you all are used to an actual defense other than, Im right and you are wrong.
