Out of morbid quriousity, how many of you that are eagle scouts are mormon? Not that I am predjudice against them (my mom is mormon, and I went to church until I realized I was athiest). I know ALOT of Boy Scouts I know are mormon... I am wondering how many of you just got the urge to go to your local, where ever it is you go to sign up, and wel, sign up... PS I'm not an Eagle Scout...

Brownie scouts were always fun to laugh at in Cub Scouts... 'Course, in Boy Scouts, all we wanted to do was get with the Girl Scouts. My, how times change.

Project was doing a "drive" to raise books for kids that couldn't afford them.

Uncle was the Scoutmaster and is going to take a full-time job with the BSA next year or so.

Project: helping to renovate some old apartments that my church was turning into a women's shelter.

OA, got to Brotherhood. Those ceremonies were so cool.

Nope, not Mormon, and nodboy in my troop was, but two Eagle Scouts that I was friends with in HS were Mormon.

I had the same eagle scout project at the women shelter here in town except it was not a whole playground just a jungle gym and swingset.

I am not mormon, but for a while i was part of a mormon sponsered boy scout troop, becuase my best freind at the time was mormon and in that troop. I think they have the highest rate of scouts who make eagle.. its really looked highly on in there church.

My project was building a huge canoe rack, and everyone involved got poison ivy from it! '

I also got to go to Philmont in '94 and the National Jamboree in '93

Don't have my card right on me, but I do have this

My project was cleaning and restoring a creekside at a local historical preserve. Had about 40 people working for 4 or 5 hours. Kids came and trashed it like 2 weeks later too :|

I got my merit badges and project done completely about 5 days before my 18th birthday. :Q

At the time, I guess you could have considered me mormon, but as of now I'm not. Both of my brothers also achieved eagle too

I didn't have the ceremony 'till '00 (about 3 years after i got eagle) because i was lazy.

God, those uniforms really *are* questionable
