Yes, because watching Obama speak while the audience of politicians stand up to applause and circle jerk is infinitely more exciting than Steve Jobs.

The State of the Union is pointless. It's another round of empty promises that wont be fulfilled, so why the hell should I care? Perhaps, it's just the fact that I don't give two shits about politics since I have a little to no say in it.
