Berserk is just.. dark. So dark it's like.. eerie dark.

i think berserker is alright, it really can't compare to Lodoss War.

i have it but haven't watched yet.

When my cousin recommened Golden Boy ... it was awesome .. watched it twice.

I musta say Eva rulez even 10 years after the first airing. tho Cowboy Bebop is up there, along w/ Lain, Noir, Kenshin, and can't forget Ranma, one of the funniest animes ever in my book.

i also liked S-Cry-ed (anyone know what that stands for?) RahXephon (tho a eva rip off) Hack//sign, Trigun, Lodoss War, along w/ ton o other fan sub animes that i saw which i can't remember.

the poll choices were nice and long, but also lacking.. ah well can't please everyone..

Saint Seiya will always be one of the all time best anime series in my opinion...the originality and flow of the storyline, over 20 complex and unique individual character profiles, and put together with the great drawings...were awesome. There were over 40 or 50 episodes of Saint Seiya, and considering it was created in 1984...its pretty spectacular. Hard to find a series that can compete with Saint Seiya, even Record of Lodoss War dulls in comparison.

eva has nice robots, but is massively overrated pretentious bull hocky.

Depends a lot on my mood. Trigun is great for quasi-philosophical gunslinging and the many moods of Vash are entertaining, Cowboy Bebop has excellent music and it's great at keeping one interested in the story line (plus, Ed is great comic relief), and Ranma is just so stupid-funny that I can't help but enjoy it and laugh.

I vote for Cowboy Bebop. Absolutely love that series, have all the DVD's. BTW, I dont like like Ghost in the shell series... its nothing compared to the original IMO.

I'm a Bebop fan personally. One set of DVD's I actually bought. RahXephon is pretty cool too. Seen probably 2/3 of the stuff on that list.
