PC P&C.

No question in my mind. Though Zippy and Seasonic are a close second. Anyone know about the SinTek PSUs?

I am actually looking at a PCP&C 510w unit, but I heard it comes with a really loud fan. I know the Seasonics are quite, but they don't come with presleeved cables. So either way, do I have to do some work?

Are the Delta fans in the PCP&C units replaceable, i.e., w/o voiding whatever warranty there may be?

I'd trust a Zippy, Seasonic, or PC Power and Cooling PSU. The first two from recommendations of people on here that I trust for this sort of thing, and the latter from experience.

That said, I have an Antec in my main system because I wanted to save money and cheap out on a power supply.

I've had a bad experience with a PSU from them, and when I tried to RMA it, they just wouldn't get back to me. I was willing to give them another try, and we'll see how it goes.

The newer Turbo-Cools actually ramp down the fan after they've ran thier own self diagnostics and are a lot quieter than the initial models were.

If you want something like the Seasonic, but presleeved there is one Coolmax unit that's pretty damn good: CW-650T

Me too. I've had the same 460w p.supply for 4 years and have added more crap, hard drives, changed MBs & processors and I'm still able to O/C well and have no power issues at all!

Another vote for Antec! That's my preferred power supply in my home fleet(16 rigs) and what we use when installing replacements in machines at work.

PC P&C Some models made by Fortron Source, some by other companies such as Zippy---- actually what you are stating is completely misleading-- we have been through this before but all makers of PSU`s get parts from each other. Some companies provide varuios different parts. Some companies take a PSU and totally do a 100% upgrade with heavier beefier components.
I have talked with the people at PC Power & Cooling. They also say thats not exactly a true statement.
What they will tell you id that they do buy different components that make up there PSU`s from other companes.
Also I understand that the PC Power & Cooling Silencer line is the one possibly made almost entirely except for a few minor alterations by other companies.
Let me ask 1 question that has always perplexed me.
Why if PC Power & Cooling is totally made by other companies is not there another PSU that compares exactlty 100% with the PC Power & Ciiling PSU`s?
You would think that Zippy or even Fortron PSU`s would stand up to the plate with PC Power & Cooling PSU?
Why not just build the "BEST" for yourself?
Never could figure that one out!

I have nothing but good experience from Seasonic. I use the super tornado 450 Watt. It's stable, powerful, quiet, offers good airflow and excellent efficiency. What a difference from a generic PSU included in a case. I will always use Seasonic in my builds.
