He needs to plant WMDs in Iraq.
Seriously I can't believe they haven't tried that yet. Politics and war being such dirty games of deception and all. I guess they must have known they wouldn't get away with it. i mean look at the prison scandal they couldnt even get away with that although they were able to keep it from hitting the news for months.

he's been blaming the CIA, using tenet as a scapegoat. exactly the same as how ceo's protect themselves by claiming not to have known the truth, so how can they be blamed? I believe that if you're in charge, then you're responsible. You're not the boss just to sit on your butt and collect a fat paycheck. Bush is in charge of the executive branch of government, and the CIA is a part of that branch, and therefor he's both in charge and responsible. He can't distance himself from his own branch of government and still expect to keep his job.Originally posted by: Painman
I believe he's already acting upon option #1...

no need to admit he was wrong, as all the intel agencys in the world pointed to Saddam having WMD.
Multiple reasons were given besides WMD, including Saddam being a brutal dictator and genocide.
that doesn't make any sense, bush doesn't have direct control over most of the bureaucracy and the misinformation of a some field agents and the Russian agents, though it may make him look bad, does not mean he was doing a poor jobBush is in charge of the executive branch of government, and the CIA is a part of that branch
Dude that's a total crock of poo. All the intel agencies in the world pointed to Saddam having WMD but the overwelming majority didn't think it was a big deal. This administration certainly knew there was a low likelihood that Saddam had anything close to nukes . . . yet how many times did we hear about the "mushroom cloud".Originally posted by: charrison

Agreed...
And the beloved John Kerry on several occasions agreed.. And " was WAY ahead of the commander in chief.." ( Referring to Clinton Admin )
But of course, Bush lied and betryed america.
