Nextel. Rocks.. They have the best customer service out of all of them. I deal with Nextel, Sprint, Alltell, Tmobile and ATT and I have found nextel to be the best.

I switched from Sprint to T-Mobile and haven't looked back. Lack of true SMS on Sprint is what forced me to leave.

Verizon America's Choice. Enough minutes for me and great coverage and quality.

Verizon has: Buy one LG VX6000 for $79.99 and get one Audiovox 8600 free (after rebates of course). $60 a month for family plan, 400 shared, free mobile2mobile, unlimited night/weekends of course.

TMobile has: Free Motorla V66s or Samsung X105s. $50 a month for family plan, 400 shared, free mobile2mobile, unlimited night/weekends.

They're still around? Haven't heard that name since I left Harrisburg 4-5 years ago.

BTW, Sprint == AWESOME coverage, but REALLY crappy customer service, and they're a bit pricey. (Phoenix Area.)

I had alltell for 9 years and switched to nextel. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be and no camera phones.

That phone is horrible.

GSM = I'm getting on the same page as the rest of the world instead of using the sh!t technology only offered here.
Are you kidding? Who cares?! Do you travel internationally? BTW, Europe does not equal the rest of the world. Oh, and that sh!t technology you talk about is used by the #1 service provider in America and another 20M users with Sprint. Tell those 50+ million how sh!tty CDMA is.

GSM = Best voice quality!
True, but it comes at the price of more dropped calls because of less-economical use of spectrum.

GSM = I can use my phone in Europe or anywhere else in the world.
Again, do you travel? At all? I rarely ever leave the states, and if I do there are FAR cheaper ways to call back.

Sony Ericsson + GSM = SMS the way it's suppose to be done.
Seriously, you people use SMS? Wow. I can't stand it. You have a phone in your hand and you'd rather send a text message?

Customer Service is great!
Yeah, I hear they're pretty good. I won't refute this.

T-Mobile is a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG
And............?

i have AT&T GSM in the east bay and service is better than TDMA. there were some places where TDMA had no reception but GSM has full. i have less dropped calls, less times when i can't get a connection, better sound, etc. in short, i'm happy with it. the downside is i get nothing when i go to the mountains or to santa cruz. my GSM phone is way nicer than my old TDMA phone, too.
