Poll: Did we land on the Moon?

I am seeing the show on Fox and there is some interesting points that I haven't thought about before. Example, the lighting in the moon pics, the same backgrounds in pics supposedly miles apart, the radiation belt surround Earth and the Astronauts cannot possibly be protected with the thin metal shielding they have, and the harsh conditions on the moon.

But I still believe that US did it.... because didn't we have the technology?.... Why fake such an event that means so much in the technology of the human race? Also, the technologies used in the Space missions are visible in all the modern things we use now....

What do you guys think? Believe the conspiracy Theory? Or believe in the abilities of mankind?

I love how people think we didn't go to the moon and the 100K people who would have been involved in the coverup have all kept quiet about it for 30 years..........just look at arguably the biggest secret ever(the atomic bomb) and how damn long that was kept a secret!!!

You're right! I looked up tonight and saw nothing. You can't land on a moon that just isn't there.

that's right.... no moon.. really the moon is just a big reflection off of a mirror that is attached to a satelite that hangs down. so it looks like the moon... and it changes color every once in a while because the mirror gets dirty and they have to wash it....

you know... if we lied about it the french gov't probably would have produced radar tapes tracking the saturn V as it plunged into the atlantic ocean, just because the french back then were really into spiting americans.

This whole question is really trivial. We can all agree that in the late 60s early 70s the Russians were not exaclty our &quot;Good Buddies&quot;. In fact they were looking for any oportunity to discredit the US. Do you really believe that they could not tell if the radio signals that they were undoubtly monitering were indeed coming from the moon? The fact that the Russians did not shout and scream foul in 1969 is all the proof I need.

Exactly. It would have been easy to tell if the radio signal was faked. They would have been screaming bloddy murder. The space race was a big loss for them. They were undoubtably looking for any way to discredit it.

I find the poll particularly offensive.

Yes, I believe the Americans landed on the moon, but that doesn't automatically make them the best.

A simple yes/no would have been better. As if I don't get enough of american sensationalism. Show some humility man!

Yah, the poll was set up poorly with the questioning.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that all the people who voted no (9!!!) voted that in opposition to the way yes/no were worded, instead of what they thought the answer to the question was.
