I started reading Tom's back when I built a K6 200 system. I had a Soyo board at the time, and I had some sort of issue with it and contacted Soyos online support. The Soyo guy that replied pointed me to Tom's site and also hinted my board had a 75 MHz bus, and that I could find out how to use it at Tom's. Anyone remember Tom's lists with different mobos and what the jumpersettings were to get a 75 or even *gasp* 83 MHz FSB to work?(Hey, at that time it wasn't even called Front Side Bus, just system bus or bus )
Then came the debacle with a community veteran called Harvey (I think it was Harvey - he might even still be lurking around this board) and Tom's view of American culture and what airplane service was the best (hehe, yes, there was a big argument over this). After that I quit going to Tom's.
And, yes, Tom's BBS really really suck.
