POLL:Did your LCD come with stuck pixels or not?

I have never checked my laptop screen for dead pixels. There are none that I have noticed during everyday use anyways

Samsung Syncmaster 213T: No dead/stuck pixels/subpixels.
Samsung Syncmaster 191T: No dead/stuck pixels/subpixels.
MAG 19" LCD from BB: 1 dead blue subpixel in the middle of quadrant I. Only noticeable on BSOD or similar screen situations.

My school (also my workplace) ordered about 200+ Dell 1901FP 19inch LCD's. Quite a few of them have dead pixels, especially my boss's. His has about 4 which are towards the center, extremely annoying IMO. I told him to call IT and have it RMAed, but they only replace it if it has 8 right?

At work - 19" BenQ - 1 dead pixel bottom right corner
At home - 20" Viewsonic - 3 stuck pixels on black background only, two of which I found only by using software to help detect them they are located one bottom center the other two are top center

I wish they would test them out before shipping, for the kind of money some of them cost you'd think they'd be more careful.

Dell 2001FP. One stuck pixel in the bottom left, shows up as bright green when screen is black. Returned to Dell.

Sony S260 - One blue pixel, got it exchange but...

2nd Sony S260 - One stuck red pixel. Thinking of getting it exchanged AGAIN.

I did open the box in the store but the guy would not let me open a second box because then he would have to sell it as an "Opened item".

But the first laptop, when I took it out of the box at home I noticed it had greasy fingerprints all over the lid of the notebook. This was obviously opened before and yet still sold to me as "New".

Went through four Viewsonics (VP201s), all had dead pixals. The first had two dead pixals, the second had over ten, the third had one and the last had two (I gave up counting, just stopped when I saw two). Dead pixals weren't the only (or worse) issue. Poor quality, avoid.

21" Sony CRT...no dead pixels.

My viewsonic had one in bottom right quarter of the screen, towards the middle. they would only replace if there were more than 8. So i didn't bother. You don't notice after awhile. Especially if you use a white desktop background that covers it.

1 syntax olevia 30 inch tv monitor with one pixel with no blue component. I can't see it unless screen is blue. Haven't decided if I am gonna replace it yet, since I have it till Jan 15, and I got it for $999.
