Poll: Do you consider "wigger" to be a racist term?

I don't think it is, but my girlfriend thinks it's racist, just because of the word that it's derived from.

Personally I think great person and wigger are racist words.... but then again does that stop me from saying them occasionally? No....

Then again, I'm not exactly PC anyways...

Of course it's derogatory, that's not the point. The point is whether or not it's racist

I called one of my girlfriend's coworkers a wigger, she didn't like that.... even though he is.

Michael, You better prepare for such an event. Because many children will rebel and on purpose do exactly the opposite of what you like or want them to do. It's human nature. My dad was big into classical music so me and my brother Clint were major wiggers in HS Now I have lots of classical though

The problem lies in the inference. If you are using the word wigger where does it come from and how are we not to think you don't use the other term to describe others with equal regualrity?

Yes. People are very sensative these days. You cant even say "old" anymore. You cant say things that are merely descriptive either. A black cat. A black car. A black notebook.

I had a tooth feeling replaced recently. I was telling someone I worked with about it. I told them that they pulled out the old white feeling and here came the look. Uh hello?

I don't really think it is racist... but on the other hand I wouldnt say it around black people... It kind of has some racist stint to it... whether it be considered racist or not.
