Australia. I don't think many people are driving cars from Africa or South America, or Antarctica.

I will not own an American vehicle. I will only drive a Japanese or German vehicle. (Well, if I could AFFORD a German vehicle ) My current ride is an Isuzu Trooper made in Japan. My last car was a Honda Accord, which is made in Tenessee, but is Japanese thru and thru (higher QC standards). Compare a Japanese vehicle THAT'S MADE HERE, IN THE USA with an American vehicle (obviously made here in the USA) and the difference in quality control is very obvious. That and the quality of materials used is very different as well.

I'm not anti-American. On the contrary, I'm very patriotic (if you only knew....) anyway, I believe in spending my money wisely. Buying an American car is not wise. Truck...well, maybe, but car? Heck no.

Sort of.

I drive a Ford Focus, but it was not made in America (I think it was built in Germany but I'm not too sure)

My Mitsubishi Galant was made in Normal(!), Illinois. I even think the car was deisnged in California as well, so while it has a Japanese nameplate, it appears to be a very American car.

Agreed there. I drive a Honda Civic. Call me a lemming all you want, but they are a rarer sight on UK roads than most cars.

My subaru is Japanese.
My brother's old (1986) honda is also Japanese.
My mother's 2000 Subaru was made in Kentucy I think (definitely american made though).
I don't know about my Father's 2001 Camry, but I'm pretty sure it was made in the US somewhere.

Better to have a Japanese car made by american hands than an american car made by mexican hands. Who's economy would YOU rather support?

My mom drives a 91 Ford Aerostar minivan. It's given us almost no problems especially when compared to our two Honda Accords. (Although the Accords have more mileage and are 2-3 years older, the Ford has none of the problems that everyone claims they have w/ American made cars)

I drive a Buick. Bought it off my sister for cheap. No complaints. Isn't the Trooper the SUV most likely to roll over?

I had a 91 Dodge, good as new, no engine problems, no rust (and I live next to the beach) and the interior was in perfect shape. Dodges last forever
