POLL: Do you guys still use regular floppy drives?

Yes = means you do...

No = means you don't use anything at all (not even floppy/usb/whatever)

and the other option = you use something else besides floppy

Meh. I guess it only pertains to the "smaller size" drives... but if this poll is confusing, I'll just destroy this thread or something.

Nah, just delete the I use other option and take the K.I.S.S. approach- Keep it simple stupid, make it a yes I use a floppy or no I do not. No probably means they use USB, CD, Network, or HDD. Everyone transfers data at one point in time.

its not like on a regular basis or anything but there are times when they are needed. For instnace..if you need to put something ona fresh build...the usb drives arnt installed yet....so no dice on the flash drive.

Neither my desktop nor my notebook has a floppy drive. Bios updating can be done with a CD nowadays.

none of my PC's have a floppy drive installed, but I do keep one in my closet for the super rare occasions I might actualy need it, it still comes in handy sometimes.

My motherboard has a flash utility in it that allows me to boot to and it automatically loads the bios from the root of a CD.

My latest computer is the first to not include a floppy at all, and all future ones will follow the same Idea.

Floppy drive for class use mainly. When i work on computers, its nice to have a floppy just in case i dont have my boot cd handy.
