Poll: Do you like to drive around aimlessly with no particular destination?

i do that alot when i am bored, upset or just not feeling very good. something about watching people, cars, trees and life around me while driving makes me feel better

plus, i just wanted to make my first poll, so vote in it

I do but only during really heavy traffic times. When I end up on the freeway stopped, I roll down the window and start talking to the person next to me. They always give me this condescending attitude, say something rather terse and then ignore me.
Still, I continue to strive to brighten peoples lives one person at a time.

Indeed. I like to drive. It calms me down. I'll sometimes incoporate errands. Like tonight. I want to take a nice drive and I want to stop at Napa.

only when im driving my boss's del sol, it aint my gas then and i dont drive around aimlessly, i drive around trying to find people to race.

sort of. about 6 months ago, when i didn't have a car of my own, i would have to drop my dad off at his office, then i would pick him up at 5 and take him home, all in his car. I had a lot of extra time between 3:45 and 5, so I would "explore" in his car, because I didn't have anything better to do.

i have the urgue to do that sometimes now, but i think my parents would get suspicious of me if I did that. i would not be able to drive in much traffic at all, because that is not relaxing. 90% of the people on the road are aholes, and that is just not relaxing.

though some people who ride with me get all nervous and stressed if they dont know exactly where we are going, i guess some people just dont feel comfortable when they dont know exactly whats coming next.

I would drive if I had a car... But I like to take long walks to collect and organize my thoughts...

Yeah, thats all there is to do here. Get some friends in the car, and then go race, and other related things... hoping not to get caught by the cops.

They have a new rule here (red deer, alberta canada) that if you're caught racing, you automatically lose your licence... dont know how long tho.

Yes I do, but I prefer to do it on my motorcycle, it just *works* for me.

(plus it's only $3 to fill up rather then LOTS more )

My girlfriend, me, and 2 other couples just got in a SUV this past February and decided to drive and see where we would end up. In the end we went to Orlando, FL and then drove to Atlanta. Was definately the BEST road trip i've ever been on.

By myself though... i haven't driven around aimlessly, mainly cause of the gas prices.
