Poll: Do you read a paper and ink newspaper?

star trib and a local junk paper pretty much daily. I don't think anything you can find on the internet really matches it.

After subscribing to local newspapers for almost 30 years, I finally decided that I would not support them for their blatant political bias.
It seems it's the only way these folks get the message- money.

I get six-days-a-week delivery of The National Post to my door. I do this solely because it costs me roughly $40/year and because it challenges my natural inclinations (I'm a liberal, it's a conservative paper).

If not for that deal (which they must lose money on) I'd stick to reading The Week and Google News Canada online.

People have been calling for the death of "print" media for almost 2 decades now.
I'll believe it when I see it.

I don't know if they're dying or not, but the regional newspapers in our area are dropping sections and the sections that are left have about half of the number of pages they used to have.

On Sunday I pick up two papers. One of those has let go about half of the people that wrote columns in the Sunday edition. The last several months have had a lot of 'goodbye' columns.
