I run stock.

Back before I was married I had a whole lot more free time to read up on things and fiddle with tweaking for a 5% improvement here and there - sadly those days are gone Now my spare time's spent painting :|

Nope. I've tinkered with it, but I don't play games enough to make it worthwhile. Once I find something that I can't do well enough with an XP2400 and 1 gig of memory I will have probably moved on to something else anyway. For me, speed counts in boot and load times. I hate even the slightest delay when opening or changing windows.

1.6A @ ~2.2 on a system nearing it's first birthday without having encountered any problems. Just do proper stability testing (memtest, prime95, etc.) if you overclock and keep an eye on temperatures. Not that stability testing a non-overclocked system isn't worth doing for peace of mind as well.

I wouldn't hesitate to try a couple extra hundred Mhz with the latest batch of P4s, not because you need extra performance at those levels, but because you can do it and do it safely.

Yep, I overclock, but I am not extreme about it. I run my Barton 2500+ @ 2800+ at the stock FSB. I can do more (I have had this chip to almost 3400+ speeds but 2800+ is fast enough for me right now. All my games fly.

by that time, overclocking a 2100+ wont help.

I always try to get the best bang for my buck, so I definitely overclock. Running my 2.4GHZ P4 @ 3.15 GHZ and my video card is slightly oced as well.
