The only promises he kept were his pledges to do racist and/or xenophobic things. Since those are making the average person worse off, it’s not exactly an accomplishment.

Even if you restrict it to actual votes instead of eligible voters Trump's margin of victory was about 1%. If you don't think that a sustained propaganda campaign can make 1% of voters stay home or 0.5% of voters switch their choice you're living in a dream world.
