7 years ago, I had my first experience with an ergonomic mouse. I tried the Logitech MX500 and instantly changed my outlook on the importance of a good mouse. It just felt so good to have an ergonomic mouse. I bought it and never looked back.
About 2 weeks ago, my MX500 finally gave out after years of abuse. I was partial to Logitech, only because I had such a great experience with the MX500. Still, I shopped around. Microsoft had a couple cool mice with comfortable shapes, but it seemed like they were a little short on the palm support. I tried the Apple Magic Mouse, even though I don't have a Mac, just to see what it was all about. Made my hand cramp very quickly and I didn't see the point of a mouse like that.
Then I tried the Logitech Performance MX mouse. Wow, it was incredibly comfortable. Good size, good shape, nice button placement, and the wireless receiver is super tiny, so it's safe to leave int a USB port on my laptop when I'm mobile. On top of all of this, the mouse looks pretty sharp. It's just a good design. So, I bought one and it's great! Hopefully it'll last me another 7 years, like my first Logitech mouse.
These kind of mice really work for me and let me get a lot of work done over a long period of time without getting all cramped up. To my knowledge, Apple has never made a single attempt at making anything ergonomic, especially their mice.
So unless I missed a mouse somewhere in their entire mouse lineup, I don't like a single Apple mouse.
