Poll - Favorite Burning Software

A vote for Nero regarding ordinary burning of data, music and Backup of my music-cds.

I use fireburner whenever I make an ISO

But I think I need to check out the Clone CD proggie

Nero & CloneCD gives you the one-two punch that nothing can defeat. Damn those Germans are good. Also helps to have a good burner- I use a remarked (TDK) Plextor 12x10x32.

CloneCD for games and EZCD 4.02 for everything else (vcd's,audio, data, etc.)

Geez, after all my troubles with EZCD, I use Hotburn 2.

I can't think of any legal use DiscJuggler is best at.... but I still love it

NTI Cd-maker 2k is the best for legal purposes!! screw Nero, it looks ugly

In-house burning - Adaptec EZ-CD Creator.
MP3 & clean burning - Nero.
Protection burning - CloneCD.

I use CloneCD for the tricky ones
CDRWIN for bin/cue files i stumble over and plain cd-copy
Fireburner if i "lost" the cue file.
And EzCD creator 3.5c (yeah oldie i know) for simple backup of files.
Nero or CRWIN for the rare cases of overburn...


I know there are too many progs and that i could ditch some of them, but it works for me and i don´t have any problems using them so i take my pick based on what i wan´t to burn.

Which one lets you burn a CD of MP3s that you can listen to on your car CD player? My neighbor mentioned in passing the he was able to download MP3s and listen to them in his car but he couldn't remember the name of the software.

With the exception of CD copying (I use CloneCD for that) I use Nero. IMO, it's the best, by far.

Can someone explain bin/cue files, what they are used for and how fireburner gets you around needing the cue file?
