You can force open new links in a new tab if you click your middle or 3rd mouse button on the link.

Holy crap!

Currently: Firefox 66, IE 15

WOW! That's a much larger margin than I was expecting!

i used both. couldnt get used to opera interface, and there are quite few sites i am frequent that arent opera friendly. for that same reason, firefox is not cure-all either. FF+IE works for me.

I used to use IE but got sick of all the popups. I went to firefox and have loved it, no more popups and has many more features than IE.

I mostly use FF, but some websites require IE. The one thing both have in common is that they're memory hogs. With one tab open after browsing for 10 minutes or so FF is using 78MB of memory.

Is there a difference between tabbed browsing and having the task bar on the left?

Currently using Opera, which is similar to Firefox.

Tabbed windows is nice. Fewer exploited vulnerabilities is even better.

I used IE for the longest time. Moved onto Crazy Browser, but too many pop-ups got through, I finally switched to FireFox and no regrets.

I use FF all the time. I can user IE on other peoples PC's just fine though. I think FF is better obviously because of tabbed browsing and a few tweaks here and there that can really speed it up. IE is and OK browser and it does a decent job for people who fear new things.

Another thing this shoudl really be in the software forum.

That pretty much sums it up.

I personally prefer Firefox because I found both IE and Netscape to be unstable.

I tried out firefox, but I just didn't like tabbed browsing that much, and IE has always worked great for me.

Firefox for me!

I tried Maxthon for a few weeks but dumped Maxthon in favor of Firefox. There are a couple of sites I use that require IE but Firefox is my default browser of choice.
