Poll: Firefox or IE?

firefox here...the small footprint, fast loading, tabbed browsing did it for me...ie feels so sluggish after using FF and tabbed browsing is a good send. and go noia extreme 2.0 theme

I went to firefox and it pissed me off. IE has always worked unlike firefox.

i had no problem with IE - quite like it actually but tried Firefox mainly due to security concerns but i have now switched the enitre family to FF as i like it so much better.
The tabbed browsing is great, i like the security features in built, and i can tweak it to my heart's content.

incidently where has thr quick reply gone?
replying from work [IE] and no quick reply; at home [ff] i have this box - i assume it is not browser specific!

Niether,I use Mozilla 1.7.3 and Opera 7.54 on my PCs which IMHO are the best browsers period,don`t really like Firefox ,btw you should put an option in your poll for Opera and Mozilla 1.7.3,since the poll option for "other" is a little vague.

I am a huge FF fan. I convert as many people as possible to FF. Unfortunately, some people, even some of my computer geek friends, are so resistant to change that they refuse to give it a try.

Both. For connection to networked workspace I use IE, for everything else, FF.

Yea, the ctrl + click opens up a new tab, but whenever I go click a link that opens a new window in ie, it also opens a new window in firefox. I was under the impression that this would just open a new tab and not a whole new window.

If you havn't yet, check out the extensions page. There's a bunch of extension for tab browsing that let you do pretty much whatever you want.

single-window mode was disabled by default for firefox 1.0 due to some serious bugs. as a result, links that ask to open in new windows do get new windows.
