Lets say you are a single dude and you meet a girl that you are attracted to. As you get to know her you find out she has a bf who is for some reason out of the picture (long-distance relationship etc.). What do you do?

I am not in this situation, but I am just curious. I think it is common for guys to continue to stay friendly with girls even if "they know she has a bf". This poll is to either quell my paranoid side, or expose men for the scheming horn-dogs they really are

Ive been put in this situation, and am good friends with her, but yeah i still do want to hook up with her. If it doesnt happen though, it won't be a crushing blow. Like i said, we are good friends.

Really depends on the situation, but I wouldn't have much of a problem trying to "win" the girl over...no sabotage or anything, but still, it's a competition.

It depends....but I wont do that to a friend. With friends gf's, I just look at the ground or at the wall when talking to them.

Would I do it again? In a heartbeat if she had looks and smarts. However...save ur money for the next comp...(actually to soup up my car for me) girls = lots of money to spend on

i haven't been in this situation, but i may be soon. I'm trying to hook up with my neighbor so hopefully she's single... but if she aint im not gonna let it stop me. Shes too nice a catch haha.

Don't let Bf's stop you. If you think "damn that dude is lucky", you should be thinking "that guys gonna be real unlucky soon" I have one friend in particular, all of his girls friends have been stolen from other guys haha.

I make myself accessable so when the boyfriend is out of the picture I'm there to take his place, but I don't actively try to hook up while she's with someone else, if that makes sense. A little flirting just to plant a seed in her mind but no all-out hitting on her.

Throw the hook out there. Let her know it's out there. Give her your phone number and then ignore her.

Guaranteed she'll call you. It will not come at a convenient time. I.E. you'll be sick, or asleep w/your GF at the time, but she WILL call you. Single, non-committed women (again, long distance is BS and doesn't work!) love non-committment! Play the part of the male whore and you'll score. Hey, that rhymed.

this can backfire on you. I fell in love w/a woman who was in this exact situation. Her "man" worked on oil rigs out on the ocean in the Gulf of Mexico. He was home for a month, gone for four; perfect.

She screwed, blued, abused and tattooed me. Then when he was home, she wouldn't call. Then when he left, she'd be barking up my tree like a rabid bloodhound. She was pretty...and good....and I fell like a tree under an axeman's blade. Even the player can be played. But man...was it fun.....*sigh*
