At least 4 or 5 times. Chin, in first grade. Norplant into arm, 1992; norplant out of arm, 1995. Biopsy on hand, this year. I think I also had stitches in the bottom of my foot in 5th grade, don't remember for sure.

3 in my right ankle courtesy of a bike chain, 3 in one of my fingers, a few in my gut and 50 in my right wrist.

Oh, forgot the 3 in my nose and the few on my lower lip.

My spouse's scar is scarier I bet...runs from between his eyebrows up and across his skull to the back. Looks like an 8.5 inch long zipper. Funny part is, his forehead wrinkles don't quite line up from one side of the scar to the other. :Q

My story is worse...

3rd grade, we had gym and I forgot to change shoes afterwards (for some reason the gym floor made shoes slippery)... Anyways we get in line to go eat lunch and a shoe was untied. A girl stepped on the laces and instead of tripping, the shoes slipped from under me and i went flying head first into a corner of a desk. Thank god i didnt move my head slightly more to the left or i could have lost an eye...

I cover my eye and initially started to cry but like after 15 seconds of that I didnt shed a tear. I thought my hand (which was covered in blood) looked awesome. My teacher was freaking out though. Overall I needed 6-7 stitches.

No, but I should have--I have a nice scar above my left eyebrow that could have been lessened by stitches, but I think at the time I was screaming at my mother not to take me to the doctor (I was 8, stitches were only for my brother who was a frequent visitor to the ER). I think I ran into a wall or something.

my spouse put his left arm through a window in 12th grade, apparantly he ripped some tendons too :disgust: he said he pulled it out of the window and his arm was "hanging open".

Yes, many times. One time I had 100 stitches put into my back, that sucked .

I've had a ton of stitches though, but have never broken a bone.

 

Yes, alot..... Half of which from surfing.
Last stitches were a month ago, in three different places. Should have gotten more 2 1/2 weeks ago but i didnt want to get stitches in a 3rd world country so i used butterfly tape.

Stitches on my lip when I smashed my face from a bike fall, stitches on my knee from when I fell through my attic, staples on the back of my head when I fell and smashed my head from being drunk...

We'll see if I get any more today out at Copper.

Yep! I've head them on my head a few times, my arm, finger, in my mouth where my wisdom teeth were taken out, and my toe.
