[POLL] How long has your wallet lasted you?

I've had mine for ~12 years! Its leather and while some of the pockets a torn, the thing is a tank and shows no signs of decay. The exterior is in fine shape.

How long have you had yours?

5 months. Got a new one for Christmas.

 

About three years. It's been great. It zippers up, so all my cards and stuff have no chance of falling out. I love it.

About a year and a half, but it should last forever because it has a lifetime warranty (can send it in to coach to be repaired for the cost of shipping). Still looks brand new.

Well my old wallet was in great condition for around 5 years but I ended up losing it The new one I have has lasted me for a little less than a year so far.

Too long. It's not leather so it's all smelly. Probably at least 3 years. Diesel wallet, works fine for what I need. More of a kids wallet, but I'm only 17.

Mines got about 3 years in it. normally they last about 5 years depending on when the dog gets ahold of it

Hmmm...I think I've had my current leather wallet for about four years. It's still in great condition. Too bad it usually has more receipts and check stubs in it than money.

I've had my current one for about 8 years (I have a backup in waiting).. it's a billfold that HAD a soft leather-like lining but it has since deteriorated. Some of the leather on the corners and in the middle is showing a good bit of wear, but it's still holding up. Only the plastic "window" to cover the drivers license has bit the dust and was removed some years ago.

I'm going to hit 6 years this summer. My only gripe is the bill separator is flimsy nylon and not something stronger, like leather or thick nylon. This makes stuffing bills in their appropriate sections a little more challenging, but I usually pay with credit card anyway. I have a hole in it where I used to carry a spare car key and it poked through the outside. Otherwise it's in good shape. I replaced the credit card / picture file a couple years ago.

I hate buying new wallets, as I don't enjoy the break-in period where the wallet violates your cheek. :Q

I just replaced my wallet a month or two ago.

The wallet before that, must have lasted easily 5-6 years. Started to get worn out, and my mom had nothing to get me for christmas, so she got me a wallet.

Probably around ten years, but have only used everyday for around a year or two now. Father gave it to me when he used to smoke, it's one of those marlboro points ones (it's leather ).

I'm 20 now. From age 14-16 I carried a "normal" bi-fold wallett. Since then I have carried the same wallett, this time a vertical bi-fold.

around 4 years but i replaced it a month ago. Nothing was wrong with the wallet, no tears no abuse but it was a trifold and i was tired of the bulkiness it brought.

got myself a nice leather bifold. Very slim.
