This is all about the trimming of America, and the trimming of the entire world. Like an old oak tree, you clip the branches that you don't want and retain the branches that you do want.
The seniors and disabled i.e. the financial drain on society are the branches society does not want. Besides.... the youth will need their own watered-down social security program having less of a drain on society, and thus the old system must be eliminated. After all, America can hardly maintain one retirement system let alone maintain two retirement systems, and so... one has to go. That being the most costly of the two. So how does a government do that? That government eliminates the problem with a targeted world pandemic. Kill the old F***ers off. Nothing new here, they did this before with HIV and AIDS except back then the problem were the undesirables within society. "The suckers." (i.e. Mr Potter, It's a Wonderful life)

So we have THAT (above), plus the NEW WORLD ORDER.
In a world of one order where the bottom line becomes the money, no country no nation can afford to be categorized as communist or dictatorship or democracy or free or enslaved. Putin and Kim Jong must be as welcomed and befriended as would any world leader regardless of his or her crimes or political ideology. In todays new world order, every leader must be willing to sit down and break bread with the most murmurous hated dictator as they would with their own mother. It's all about the loot, and the trade, and the entwined economy created for the benefit of all. As Robin hood once said, one for all and all for one. A simple concept. Toss into the mix your basic world pandemic and there you have it, two birds with one pandemic stone. A new world order where war becomes obsolete, and a drain on society put to rest. The pandemic that will bring all nations of the world together regardless of historic flaws or shortcomings.

No, this virus did not just happen, it was planned and executed to obtain the new world order where presidents and dictators walk hand in hand for the common good. The common good being power and money. And total social control....
Heck, constructing a simple little virus that targeted the elderly and targeted compromised immune systems was a walk in the park for todays dark technology. Besides, nukes and bullets are so...so.... old school. Releasing targeted pandemics onto and into society is so much more beneficial with the results so much more effective.
And why not target the old folks? The has-beens?
In the old days old folks seldom lived into their 50's. Many never survived past their 30's yet alone into their 70's, 80's or 90's.
The elderly have lived a good life and have enjoyed their youth, so what else should they expect? Trim that tree, give the new undergrowth a chance.

Can't see anyone really calling for that, just that fatal infections for both could lead to a very rapid change in political power.

Besides, worrying about Trump would carry some weight if he, Republicans and Fox hadn't been calling for an early end to lockdowns until it was obvious that was never going to happen. They were genuinely ready to kill people for the sake of the economy and Trump's reelection chances.

Hypothetically speaking, if the death of the two of them resulted in 3 American lives being saved because they:

- stopped getting crap advice from the daily "brief" and by paying attention avoided getting the virus
or
- had medical staff on hand as opposed to no medical staff as they themselves were sick or dying due to no PPE and were saved by treatment
or
- had a ventilator or CPAP which made the difference in survival

Would that not count as being up in the deal?

What is the magic number before its better for said two to perish when balancing the needs of the many against the needs of the few? A hundred? A thousand? What about a million?

My wish isn't that they die, it's that we have an effective POTUS. That's my feeling 100%. The current pres and vice pres aren't capable of that.
