Poll: How many DVD's do you own ?

Most of mine are animes that wouldn't make it to a rental store's shelves. Last I checked noone had Key: The Metal Idol.

about 210, and I am going to be hurting when HD-DVD comes out.

I also am kinda worried about DVD rot. I've had some discs that previously worked perfectly, been stored in a good climate, and have no scratches at all on em are starting to get errors. If I ever find out that Hollywood manufactured them with some kind of slow self destruct mechanism, I am driving to california and am bring every piece of weaponry I own.

I just have the Twin Peaks First Season set. I never got into buying movies because just seems cheaper to rent them.

So most people prefer DVDprofiler for logging their collections ?
I didn't like it much when I tried it but thats because I entered all UPC numbers with the keyboard..
Might have to grab me one of those cuecats and try it again. .

Um, it's just a hobby. Some people really like movies, so much that it can be considered a normal part of their life (like me). To others movies are merely another form of entertainment. There is something special about owning a movie you enjoy, but it's hard to pinpoint. I guess it's just the collector's mentality.

I have one, "The Sound of Music." It actually belongs to my wife because she wanted it for Christmas. We watch it on the computer because I don't have any money left over to buy a DVD player and a decent TV after spending all my money on computer components.

Does anybody have a problem with that?

Just movies I like and almost EVERY DISNEY ANIMATED MOVIE THERE IS!:Q(no Pocohonis or MULAN)

DVD I enjoy watching a movie at my leasure and checking out the commentary and extra stuff.

No GREAT rental places here in Faribault so I buy most of them.

We walk through best buy I my son son will cry out "I got that DVB!"

He never gets Tapes anymore WE can't buy any Movie unless it is on DVD.

Now they are starting to release Clifford the Big red Dog, Dragon Tales, and other on DVD.

My son and wife think it's great BUT my checkbook feels the pain!

Last weekend he got the NEW Veggie Tales (he got silly song countdown for XMAS) and Potty time with bear.

Also Do you buy the Delux or regular if there is a choice.

I started buying the disney doubles if there is an option, Atlantis, Groove, dinosaur. I ENJOY the second disc as much as the first!
