Poll: How many married guys remember their wedding?

I found out that my wife's father has no memory whatsoever of his wedding day. Made me curious and I asked other married male family members. I found out my father remembers both of his weddings. My stepfather barely remembers his first wedding but remembers his second, and my step brother-in-law doesn't remember everything but does remember some of his wedding. It's been a little over a month for me and I remember most of it but the day is becoming a bit of a blur.

What I want to know is what about everyone else out there? What if any do you remember of your wedding day?

I remember it almost all of it. I remember vividly watching my niece (flower girl,3 yrs old) walking down the aisle and waving. I remember my wife walking down the aisle and being so happy!!!! I remember the reception, honeymoon.

I think the people that forget their wedding day are the ones that are very very nervous when they get married.

Going on 8 years for me and I still remember the day. My wife still remembers who we got the presents from! I don't have a clue there.

Going on 9 for me. I remember it perfectly. Beautiful August day.

Going on 10.....months, and I still remember mine.

Funny thing is, my sister-in-law was in the wedding party and had her 1 yr old daughter with her for the ceremony. She (the 1 yr old) started crying loudly during the ceremony....neither my wife or I heard or remembered that until we saw the video tape of the wedding.

Been a little over 2 years, I remember it all..


My wife later told me that when she and her father were getting ready to walk down the isle, he told her that if she wanted to change her mind, he would not be mad..

Almost 4 years for me...I remember everything very well.

Then again, I was stone sober, which helps with the whole "remembering" bit. I have a few friends who were tanked during/after their wedding...I think I had 3 beers at the reception, too busy talking to all the guests.

I didn't drink anything, strongest stuff I had was iced tea. It seems like such a blur to me. I remember it but it just seems fuzzy like it was a dream but it wasn't.
Either way I'm quite happy with the woman I married and hope to spend many many years with her.

I remember looking at this moosehead hanging on the wall at my sister's house, right above and behind the marrier-guy-doer.
I wanted to laugh so bad, but I just stood there and held it in.
I have no idea what he said after that, except when he said something about "cleave unto her". Then I perked up, wondering what the hell that meant. But I sheepishly agreed at that point, just to keep from thinking about the moose.

Our wedding went neigh perfectly and we had a ball. Everything came together great and its a fantastic memory.

I remember mine perfectly and that was with a couple beers in me at the time! I had to. Some of my male family/friends who weren't able to come to the bachelor party decided they were going to take me out and have another bachelor party the night before. I needed those beers to get rid of my hangover!!!

I remember mine as well, but I can't say perfectly. Wedding days are long days (not bad, just long).

I have been married 31 years and I remember the day like it was 15 minutes ago. It was the most important,rewarding day of my life. I'm looking forward to another 31 years.

I'm sure the Mister remembers the wedding and the honeymoon because it was such a total disaster... thank God we can both look back on it now and laugh! It is sort of a family joke now. I think we will have to eventually renew our vows and have a second honeymoon, just to make up for it.

Fortunately our wedding and honeymoon went quite well. Though I think we spend more time in San Francisco relaxing and resting than going places. Did get to a lot of nice places though.
We would have liked to go to Germany but we couldn't afford it. Hopefully we'll be able to go sometime in the future. Ideally before we have kids though.
