Poll: how much coffee do you drink a day?

I drink quite a lot of coffee on a daily basis, about 4 big cups a day. Or even more . And I think it's interesting to know how much or how little coffee other people on this board drink. Or maybe don't drink coffee at all. And please, don't forget to mention what brand of coffee is your favorite right now (or has always been).

I prefer tea. I'll have a nice Turkish Coffee once in a while, but I don't drink it on a regular basis.

Nothing like a cup of good black coffee, IMO.

I used to drink a fair amount when I worked days, but since I got moved to evenings, I simply don't need it anymore.

I still enjoy coffee, I just drink other things instead.

I've been totally cutting down on my coffee intake recently.. I was up to a pot or two a day.. now I'm around 1-2 large cups but I still get really sluggish and cranky in between.. :|

Well, when I say Nescafe I don't mean that awful Classic, I'm talking things like Alta Rica, Cap Colombie and Mocamba that seem pretty decent to my taste. Of course, when I'm not in a hurry and not at work I make real coffee.

no coffee here, I find it nasty. My Fiance drinks about 2 cups a day, and I drink 1-3 cans of pop a day (my teeth are gonna fall out) The only coffe I can stand are those mocha frappuchino's (sp?) from Starbucks and I have them half the coffee and double the chocolate.

Yeah, it seems like coffee drinking isn't all that popular. 14 naysayers so far. I also couldn't drink coffee at first, but later on just broke out. Now I can't live without it.

I went through a phase of drinking about 5 or 6 cups in the space of two hours in the morning at my old web-support job.

I got over it though and I've stopped drinking coffee now. Maybe one cup a week or something. I now drink beer instead

I stopped drinking coffee in the morning about 2 years ago. Now I just drink a huge glass of icewater. I do have the occasional starbucks when I go out though.

I only drink coffee with chickory in it. They don't have that here, so I don't drink any at the moment.

Well, that's a careful strategy, I think. But if you drink cola or Pepsi as most people do, you get exposed to caffeine as well, don't you?
