Poll: How neat are the wires on your computer?

in my case is clean as hell... outside is complete crap and im scared to loook under my desk.

I was actually thinking behind the computer when I posted this. I had just been under my desk collecting crumbs and noticed how bad mine was.

On the outside, the cords are hopelessly tangled up. It's just a big wad of insulated wire. A bunch of power cords, 2 power strips, a CAT-5, headphone cord, mic cord, speaker cord, wire going from my digital camera, some USB cables, 2 joystick cables, monitor cable, mouse cables, keyboard cables, and probably some other stuff. It takes 45 minutes to remove an external device. Moving the boxes to do stuff inside them is a nightmare.

Fortunately, the insides of the boxes are much neater. Twist ties, rounded cables, and the like.

the biggest problems with cables are that manufacturers think that you keep you microphone about 2ft from the box and you put your speakers at opposite ends of a football field. What the hell is up with that? So ive got twisty ties everywhere and even when it is organized it still looks like hell.

mine are pretty good, i have the kind of desk where there are runners underneath so i can hid my cables in those.

inside, i am very neat. i only have my power cables, a ~7 inch long floppy cable, and my one 68pin scsi cable.

I Bought a bunch of really small red zip ties to clean my case about 2 mos ago. Eventually I Might use them to help clean the rats nest
