Poll: How popular were/are you in high school?

Seeing that high school class elections are popularity contests and that It's 3 in the morning and I'm pretty bored.... how popular where you in high school?

well.. when i was in school i didnt think i was popular.. altho probably most people considered a jock.. even tho im not like most people in the jock stereotype.. however.. i realize now that i was pretty damn popular.. a shizload of people know me.. its kinda scary sometimes actually.. i run into people i know everywhere.. now i just gotta work on names

ick :disgust: I hate popularity, that's the only ting I couldn't stand. that's why I picked a very small school where everyone jsut knows everyone, my senior class had only 45 people in it and I knew the whole high school. There's 500 people total from Pre-K to senior

I was voted class clown in my senior year. I was an officer in almost every club on campus. I don't think there was anyone in high school that DIDN'T know who I was.

well, I wouldn't say friends.. but lots of people know who I was and said hi... but you should have an option of what clic you were in high school..

I was in the AP group.. you know, you see the same damn faces every class for 4 years

I didnt try to be popular it just happened. Almost everyone knew who I was in my batch and my juniors knew me too. I had a very high popularity though on the city level. I remember this one time that my english teacher called me during class saying she wanted to talk to me after class. So I meet her after class and she tells me "Your getting too popular", it turned out her neice who attends an all girls school on the other end of town was asking about me.

My popularity nearly got me into trouble with other school boys, but I handled them with courage, I even went to the extent of introducing myself to them at a inter school meet.

I could keep writing about my high school life but lets put it this way I didnt want to be popular and I didnt hang with the "in crowd" but I did end up being very popular.

I was pretty dorky in high school, being in band and all. But a big surprise came when I was nominated Most Friendly my senior year in high school.

still friends with them after 5 years out of school,
in fact, one of them is flying into the cities this morning and is gonna crash at my place tonight.
but in college i learned that, just be who the hell you want to be, it don't matter who/what you are, there are a certain amount of people who will not like you...

I wasn't a popular guy, but everybody knew me. I hung out w/ everyone from the jocks, to the cheerleaders, to the band geeks, to the stoners. I had a vast variety of friends back then.

I did hang around the AV room a bit....but the school carnival was the greatest.
2 pairs of 15inch bass bins running in the school caf changed my "dorkiness" a bit

I think because of all the extra-curricular activities that I was involved in, I was well-liked and well-recognized by all types of people. True, I wasn't the first person everybody flocked to, but I think I was probably one of the more "universally" respected.
