I wouldn't try anything if things are going well between her and current BF. If you see problems, then showing concern/compassion is the way to it. But whatever you do, you can't do/say anything to give her even the slightest notion of what your motives are. If that happens you'll most likely end up SOL.

My thought has always been to put myself in their shoes. If I were her BF and I saw you coming on to her, I'd kick your a$$. If she was coming on to you, I'd say 'see-ya!', and let her live her happy life. (BTW, I'm getting married in 1 mo. )

No, seriously, to me this is generally not right (although as someone said, there are always exceptions).

I usually try to follow the rule of &quot;do onto others as you would have them do onto you&quot; or something like that. Since I wouldn't like it if a guy tried to take my girlfriend away, I wouldn't want to do that to another guy.

It's okay to be friends though in case the relationship breaks up (or even if it doesn't -- it's always good to have friends).
