All poll options are less than the current value and inclusive of the previous value (e.g. 15>= t < 30)

I'm feeling generous - 30min. Trump thinks he's smart, because he's Trump. But Mueller, being actually intelligent and really goddamn good at his job, will absolutely rip Trump up between the 15-30min mark during the deposition. Gotta give Trump a little time to set himself up.

I don't know how long. I guessed 1 hour because the first 30 minutes of a deposition are filled with admonitions, background questions and other housekeeping matters.

I'll say this. I would hate to be Trump's lawyer. He's going to be one of those clients who will not take to being prepared for the depo. He'll probably disregard everything his lawyer tells him and say anything he pleases. Those kinds of clients are maddening.

Going off the debates as a reference... I'm thinking 25 minutes of heavy on point sniffing, and then a gradual unwraveling into full blown bufooonery at the 45 minute mark.

He'll just claim presidential/executive privilege...and if that fails, take the fifth.

He'll fold fairly quick but that aside I find it peculiar and hilarious how they are claiming they have been Vindicated and that there is no case against Trump. There is a half a dozen people on his staff that were in contact with Russian officials and spies prior to him taking the oath of office. Comey straight up called him a liar a half a dozen times yesterday at least. Comey's limited testimony wasn't a Smoking Gun but it was still very bad for the Trump side. This isn't over by a long shot. Heads Will Roll. It may not be an illegal action by Trump himself, but it doesn't need to be an illegal action to start impeachment. Congress can impeach him for the simple reason they feel he's unfit for the job and I think he's proving himself to be quite unfit and quite unable to tell the truth. Republicans in Congress are still Towing the line but they are scared shitless behind closed doors

I'm going with an hour and a half. First third for the legal blah blah blah, second part for ordinary questions and answers and the last third for Mueller to do his bit.

I said 30 minutes but I think the odds of him just sitting there hands clasped, pouty face is just as likely.

lol.

the lawyer probably knew trump would say he would testify under oath at the same time as all of us. i wonder if he'll get paid if things go south.

He'll tell stories while generally lying his ass off, as usual. At some point he'll realize he's fooked and get mad while trying to explain why he felt admitting on camera he fired to take pressure off the Russian investigation was legal. I went with >30min. because that corpulent orange gasbag is long winded and repeats himself every 5-8 seconds.

I'm not expecting Mueller to hang his own ethics up to dry for the sake of this Dump. Resistance from Congress is the issue.

Two possibilities I'm considering:

The finale out of 'A Few Good Men' (though admittedly that film has the antagonist stringing gramatically correct and coherent sentences together).

Like so many other unhinged Americans in the past, Trump chooses to go out in a bullet-fuelled 'blaze of glory'.

So long as said bullets only hit him, and preferably his dead-eyed Dominionist buddy Pence, I'm fine with that.

Everything in his world is just his version. He lies so much that he doesn't even keep track. I think it's just going to take a pile of mounting evidence to take him down. He will admit to nothing.

CNN has him saying he is, and this is apparently a quote, "100% willing." All I can say is, I don't think there's enough popcorn on the planet for this.

I hope it's like a firebombing: messy, indiscriminate, incredibly painful, and with massive "civilian" casualties.

I liked this story the other day:

http://theweek.com/speedreads/70369...sia-probe-because-concerns-wouldnt-pay-listen

But a consistent theme, the sources said, was the concern about whether the president would accept the advice of his lawyers and refrain from public statements and tweets that have consistently undercut his position.

"The concerns were, 'The guy won't pay and he won't listen,'" said one lawyer close to the White House who is familiar with some of the discussions between the firms and the administration, as well as deliberations within the firms themselves.

The guy Trump did get to take charge of his case isn't particularly experienced in dealing with congressional and Justice Department investigations, Yahoo News reported. Kasowitz has apparently been reaching out to Washington legal veterans to get tips on how to build

And... you are all wrong... Trump will just fire the mofo. Problem solved.

http://www.politico.com/story/2017/06/11/trump-mueller-special-counsel-239396

And by "problem solved" you mean "will almost certainly trigger obstruction of justice charges." I suspect that attorney might just be blowing smoke, but it would be phenomenally stupid of Trump to fire a special counsel intended specifically to minimize this kind of interference. Of course, the whole point is that Trump is that phenomenally stupid.
