What would the next step be if he did indeed fire Mueller? Would that be the pitchfork/torch wielding revolt step? He is a true monster, probably should have happened already.

I don't know how long. I guessed 1 hour because the first 30 minutes of a deposition are filled with admonitions, background questions and other housekeeping matters.

I'll say this. I would hate to be Trump's lawyer. He's going to be one of those clients who will not take to being prepared for the depo. He'll probably disregard everything his lawyer tells him and say anything he pleases. Those kinds of clients are maddening.

I'm feeling generous - 30min. Trump thinks he's smart, because he's Trump. But Mueller, being actually intelligent and really goddamn good at his job, will absolutely rip Trump up between the 15-30min mark during the deposition. Gotta give Trump a little time to set himself up.

Yeah, I seriously don't get people who expect the GOP to suddenly develop a conscience or scruples just because the vast majority of people know exactly how profoundly criminal Trump's presidency is. They're riding this bastard to the ground.

Once one card falls they will turn on their own if it gets in the way of their re-election chances or stops them from their agenda. If Trump does fall, the same repubs singing his praises will claim they never trusted him.

I am confused as to why you dont see all of these Russia ties as a problem... And we all knew Comey's testimony wasn't going to put Trump in Jail. Trump very well may not have done a legally criminal act himself in the eyes of the law, but the Russia ties will take a long time to weed out but Muller's investigation will do it. There are simply too many people in his cabinet, and staff that were talking with Russia. Too many ties, and Trump is clearly covering up. So Trump may not wind up in Jail himself, but impeachment is a very real possibility. If you arent seeing what is going on here you should try and pay attention.

Meh, Trump or not, America's policies will remain similar. Replacing Trump with another puppet will not fundamentally change anything. It may make you Democrats happy for a little while but that's meaningless political stuff.

What we need is to get rid of this evil system - but that takes moving beyond politics and believing in the system itself.
