It's a problem of perspective to give an impression to back what is a false claim on the part of Trump. He stated that there were about 1.5 million attending but photos show a far lower count, perhaps a third and that's being generous.
I realize that subterfuge is something that every Administration uses but some subtlety is usually present. It does not appear so to my eyes in this instance.

the rally is running on one of the local 24 hour news channels here. In one screen, they show the crowd at the mall....really need to look at that same camera today. The mall looks completely packed.
