We need to win the election. Impeachment at this point would be totally Quixotic.
Even if Trump wins reelection, if the Dems maintain the house and take the Senate I see Trump impeached and removed. Will need to see what the margin of majorities would be, but I suspect there would at least be an attempt (as there should be).

that would be awesome, except the resulting President Pence, which would be a different nightmare.

For sure, but I think I'd take Pence over Trump. I used to not feel that way because I didn't think the Republicans would let Trump get away with all he has.. The last few years have been something.

It's perfectly clear that GOP Senators will not vote to remove Trump. There is, therefore, only one answer. Throw the bum out.

Absolutely true, but if the Dems take majority there's a hope.

you need more than simple majority in the senate to toss out the shitstain, I believe. Dems can maybe capture majority, but highly unlikely enough to convict the rectum.

....that being said, I don't see any situation where Trump wins, yet the Dems get the Senate and keep the house. Only way Dems get the senate is enough show up to vote out Trump.

All correct, just saying it's "possible."

Explain your "No" vote despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Or maybe 94% of us respondents are mistaken. Tell us why.
It's about owning the Libs. Only about that.

Even the 'only voting "no", then not explaining why' is only about owning the Libs. Because they know it will piss the libtards off to vote no without any explanation.

Instead of bitching about not being treated fairly then let them admit the now 7% are just trolls and it has nothing to do with any principles or honest debate.

They're proud of you calling them trolls. To them that means they pissed you off and therefore owned you, so mission accomplished, like.

Oh, and honest debate? That's for fags.

Forgive me for asking this if it has already been answered, but has DeJoy said how removing the high speed sorters that were already in use was supposed to help the postal system?

Not sure, but in the House hearing today, he said he will not put them back.

That sounds like a question Katie Porter would ask. She is good. Let's hope that happens.

I have to admit I don’t think this guy did too bad with his testimony.
I was expecting the typical Trump appointee just saying fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, fuck you!
He actually answered questions in a reasonably complete manner and appears to have adjusted some plan and based upon feedback.
I’m not at the point of saying he’s the best postmaster General ever.

DeJoy is claiming that first class mail has declined a lot while parcels and packages have increased.
The machines are already paid for so having them around ensures redundancy and buffers in case when they are needed. there is very little reason not to have them.

I heard him sort of address this and I kind of feel he is right just picked the wrong time.
Basically letters the stuff the sorting machines handled volume is 50% of what it was 10(?) years ago and that was down some large number from 10(?) years before. What was being said was the post office has too many of them not being used at a good capacity since volume is down and all indicators imply volume will continue to shrink. He is focusing on reducing costs and I assume maintaining a machine that works at some small percentage of its designed capacity is financially a fools errand. I kind of remember him saying replacement parts need to be specially sourced and made for the specific machine and that’s expensive.
Again bad time to be making these changes at the post office. I’m starting to think the postmaster General is sort of like Mitt Romney running a business ruthless about cutting costs and gaining efficiency.

Katie Porter point blank asked who ordered the removal of the sorting machines. He rambles how these plans were in effect before he took over USPS. Then Porter asks who ordered the plans before him then. He says he has no idea.

and this is what I don’t like about the guy. He refuses to take responsibility of anything.

T-minus 20 days before we get a leaked email from Trump to DeJoy saying 'get rid of the sorting machines' and his response of 'rgr that boss man'.

CNN had switched back to hearing after she started. She asked about postal rates and when he couldn’t answer, she was concerned his lack of procedural policies.

Then moved on to the sorting machines.

Last part is conflict of interest. If the IG finds he has conflict, will he promise in this hearing to resign? He rambles how he won’t be found to be in conflict and why should he have to resign.

Earlier, AOC requested his calendar. But this guy rambles a lot. But saying why should I have to give up this calendar. AOC umm because it’s law. Oh okay let me talk to counsel.
