Poll: Is your OS legit

Everything I use is legit. This includes all of my OSes. Win95, WinNT 4.0, Win 98, Win 98SE, Win2k, WinXP Home, Win XP Pro, Win ME, Mandrake 9.0 and RedHat.

I have a legit Win2k on my PC and legit Solaris 8 on my Sun.
I suppose my Dreamcast's WinCE is also technically legit.
And the PalmOS on my Palm

Uh... kinda. I was a student of Portland Community College, but hadn't been for a while (I still had my student ID) but will be again soon. A friend of mine who still attends there got me a sticker for the current semester so I could attend a Microsoft conference (students and teachers only) where WinXP Pro and VisualStudio.NET was given out like candy among other things.

Before this, the last legit OS I had was Win98 that I bought with my system when I was a junior in HS. I've had Win2k Pro since then.

Win2k, got it from the sysadmin at work. Used for doing work at home....along with everything else.

as for activation, it hasn't been a problem at all.

I use an illegit copy of Win XP Pro but I have a legit copy boxed at home (I don't want to deal with activation for an OS...its bad enough doing it for Office XP.)

The only illegit software I use now is Macromedia Studio MX (experimenting around with stuff--why pay $700 for something you don't even know how to use???)

Unfortunately, my 70+ hour/6 days-a-week day job doesn't leave me much time to learn DreamWeaver, Flash, Fireworks, Freehand, and ColdFusion in 30 days (oh and the version of ColdFusion I have is legit since Macromedia gives it away for free.)

You dont have to do them all concurrently

illegit is NOT a word. you either mean illigitimate, or illicit.

And all my operating systems are legal.

I am using XP that doesn't have activation but I have my XP cd that microsoft sent me for free and I'd install that but I hate doing activation and I will not sell it so I figure I am alright.
