One day ill figure out why so many people buy from a company with such poor QA.... For now it just baffles me.

I'll vote for the MSI Turbo.. I don't currently own it, but if until it comes to the local market it proves it's worth it, I'll buy it.. Second choice is the Asus A7V133 (it's second just because there are revisions of the board that don't have the dips on and because I'm waiting to see if the MSI is really stable or not.. It may easily jump to the top for me)

I'd not vote for Abit KT7A.. Too high RMA, low quality (many ppl are very pleased, but there are some serious problems on some boards, such as instabilities that don't seem to be getting resolved)

All the above is IMHO, and can't be used against me lol

Is the MSI Turbo available? I thought I wasn't out yet. Do you guys think it's worth waiting for? I loved my MSI 815e Pro, and I'd love to try another MSI board.

I also loved my old Asus P3B-F and know for sure that Asus is a quality company. Asus over Abit?

Dang...these AMD waters are so difficult to tread. What to buy. What to buy.

The poll ask's "Which motherbnord has the best design" not "which motherboard you would like to buy" not neccisarrily the same thing. ie One may believe that ABIT has the best desighn becuase of its combination of low multiplyers and ASI rather than useless AMR (am i saying that right) slot. However if you have neither a slow clocked proc or a ASI device you personally may choose to buy the MSI for superior reliability.

I wanted to post both questions; alas two polls will not fit on a single thread (do they?). So i posted the more central question and left room for a follow up. Place yopur votes accordingly.

I've got an EPoX 8KTA3 and an ASUS A7V133 and they're both great! There are many more fsb settings in the A7V133 BIOS, so I squeezed a bit more MHz out of it. Also, it'll fit a PEP66; a tight fit, but it'll fit(nice with a Delta38 fan!). The EPoX is totally fine and the relative equal in every way, stability and memory-bandwidthwise. The only reason to get the ASUS over the EPoX, IMHO, is if you need RAID. It's a standard feature on this board, and a nice one at that, but you pay for it! The ASUS A7V133 costs $35 more than the EPoX 8KTA3. For RAID, an extra 45MHz cpu speed, and the option to mount the PEP66 you have laying around from your P3 upgrade(you know who you are!), this is not too much money. In fact, if you require all three features, this is pretty cheap(if you factor in the cost of an FOP hsf, etc.). But if you just want to have the 133fsb support on a rock-solid board, then why pay the $35 premium?

[/end rant]

PS. I ran my A7V133 stable at 160MHz fsb today! Yippeee!

Hmmm, VIAHARDWARE has some interesting insite. They claim that 133A mobos which are basic upgrades from 133 mobos will likely not handle the higher speed BIRDS in the pipe. They claim that new mobo designs are required. They use the IWILL KK266 to illustrate a new design. ABIT uses the exact same mobo, even put a sticker over the old label. Not sure about ASUS. Time will tell.

Just voted(MSI),but there are still more KT133A boards coming out in the near future so we will not yet have the full picture on the best ones.

I just swapped MSI K7T Pro2a with Soltek SL75KAV which I picked up for only $120 when I was in Akihabara, Tokyo last week.

My 1.1G T-Bird is now running super stable at 1251Mhz (139 x 9). The same chip was running at 1250Mhz (100 x 12.5) on MSI.

Although it was a bit of hustle having to use dip switches, the Soltek board turned out to be pretty stable and easy to overclock.

I would have of course liked to get Asus, Abit, or MSI board, but if you could get the Slotek cheap like I did, I would recommend it to anyone.
