Poll: m505 or HP 548?

I haven't seen the HP one so I dont know how thick it is etc.. has anyone played with both in person? I've played with PalmOS 3.5 and CE 2.11 so I dont expect a big jump but the m505 seems kinda lame just because of the lack of a real enviornment.. maybe I just expect more of a gui out of PalmOS? I'm so used to CE!

I would go with wincw, I did (casio e125) and love it. I dont like that the plam only has 8 mb RAM too.

The HP Jornada is the weakest of the PocketPC's and I would stay away from it like the plague.

I think I'm going to get a m505 because of a few things:

It weighs 1/2 as much.
I have a gamecard expansion card for it sitting in front of me.
I already planned to get it but the deal fell through.
I already got a bunch of apps for palm since I have a Vx right now.

You might wait until next week. Handspring is rumored to release the VisorSnap which should be something like a color Edge--hopefully with a hi-rez screen. It might just be a Visor Deluxe size PDA with a hi-rez screen too. It depends if Handspring wants to compete with Sony's hi-rez Clie or Palm's M505. I'd love to think that it would be a thin device with hi-rez but I doubt it. Also, using springboards often is kind of cumbersome when you use the sled. Anyhow--just thought I'd give you a heads up.

The Palm's can have less memory becaue the OS is not Bloatware like CE. The apps are also very small. 200-300K is the norm.
