I refuse to be under the influence of any substance, but I do enjoy the taste and tingling of a good wine or champagne now and then. Alcohol for me, although I don't drink enough of it to really get a drug effect going.

nice buzz
no liver damage
no puking
no blacking out and not remembering what you did
no alcoholism
no alcohol poisoning
no binge drinking
no hangover
no drunken rages (well, I don't get those anyway)
