POLL: Marijuana or Alcohol?

I'm sure the age factor needs to be taken into consideration as well. The younger the populous the more they are going to say pot. Easier to get than alcohol if under 21.

I chose alchohol hands down. I quit doing pot little over a year ago. Lost too many friends, including a girlfriend to that stupid addiction.

Well I don't know about you, but pot makes me ultra sensitive to everything. Fountian pop is like a river of bubbly heaven. Cookies are like entire bakeries in every bite. Woa, there's a forest fire in my doh-doh.

if i had to make a choice, id say weed. i love beer, but overall pot is less damaging, and just has a better "feel". non-violent, heightened senses,etc.

lsd was the best drug ive ever done.

Since when is pot easier to get than booze? My town is always dry when it comes to pot, I have to drive 45 minutes to Rowan just to get anything when I am home. Even my own college is dry half the time and it sucks. When it comes to alcohol, older siblings, older friends, even my girlfriend are all lined up to buy for me whenever I want.

but seriously, this is the easiet choice I'd ever have to make. Pot wins hands down. Nothing better than a night on the town where all you do is get burnt with some good friends.

Do you people take daily multivitamins? I remember the IRQ assignments from my XT from 1983 and I'm an avid marijuana consumer. I could draw you the complete schematic for every piece of Dynaco equipment ever made... how the hell does pot give you memory loss? I can see how it would made idiots seem more like what they are, but not how it leads to any sort of brain damage.

Lately I've been hitting the herbal substance much more than the alcohol. With weed, I dont have to worry about throwing up, passing out, acting really stupid, falling all over myself, and hurting from a hangover the next day. When I smoke, the only drawback is that I get real lazy and feel like sleeping or just sitting and watching tv or a movie. There's no pain the next day, and in fact I wake up feeling good.

If you have a stressful life marijauna will help you remember better becausse stress and hypertension are terrible for the brain. Pot is a good way to wind down.

It's not really that big of a deal. Most people are addicted to nearly everything they do in their lives, and they don't even realize it.

I'm also addicted to caffeine. Oh no, save me! lol

The difference is that most normal people can break addictions. It is much harder for an addict who is addicted to kick the habbit.

In my "smoking career", I've stopped smoking for up to 6 months at a time 4 times now. If I need to, I need to. Sure, it sucks for the first few days.. but it's not like I'm on my hands and knees, convulsing and begging God for a hit. I could just go take one.

Shrug. Everybody is addicted to something. Being addicted to some things is just sensationalized.

um... you sure that was weed that you were smoking? maybe they gave you some opium instead. opium does slow your senses and make you feel real drowsy.

Your liver is one of the only internal organs that actually has the capability to fix itself, assuming realitivly minor damage.

I don't think your lungs have this ability. I also suppose it depends on your definition of "repair".

I guess I don't really know, that was just my first thought. Your lungs probably do have some capability to regenerate themselves, since they see so much abuse..

So, does anyone in the know, know if your lungs can grow new alveoli in the event they are damaged?

Hmm.. I'd imagine they can, actually. So yeah.

But what I was getting at, is that casual social drinking won't hurt your liver at all.

Just like the occasional pollution shouldn't hurt your lungs? lol...
