edit: btw, my head still hurts from the first fight scene when the lights were flashing and crap. one person in the theater actually thought they were gonna have a siezure..

I just say dissapointed.

It was plenty deep. A little too deep. The Matrix, opened a lot of questions, brought up a lot of new ideas, said a lot of things.
Reloaded and Revolutions opened up even more questions, threw in a bunch of babble in a poor attempt to answer some, then just closed the book.

Reminded me of a high school term paper, where the whole thing leads up to a point, but then the kid writing it got tired of dragging it on, then thought about how long the explination would be, so the last page has like a 3 sentence paragraph that tries to wrap everything all at once while trying to still sound sophisticated.

Actually there wasn't much 1on1 fighting in the film. 99% Drama and 1% fighting in this one; and the reverse ratio for Reloaded. And the super burly brawl wasn't all that big of a deal after I pretty much saw most of it in the TV ads and online clips. But the ZION Attack was the BEST!! The ending was still a bit vague, but GOD I hope WB doesn't get totally greedy and go for Matrix 4, 5, & 6. I loved Revolutions.

If I'd left 20 minutes before it ended, I would have voted "Great on all counts." But I didn't.

EDIT: I am curious as to why some people would say the action sucked. Enlighten me?

Ended the only way it really could. Way overdone on the religious overtones, though.

I liked it, though no where near as enamoured or blown away as with the first one. It was okay, though nothing fantastic. The action was good overall, though really overly drawn out in certain parts. And I was wanting the Architect and the Oracle to mention that through it all the humans never clued in that their "reality" was just one more level of simulation. (Would have been a way better explination of Neo's powers in the real world.)

I do have one friend who thought it was amazing, that it blew away the first one... of course he hasn't SEEN the first one in a few years.

Let's hope they'll let the series lie, because anything the Hollywood machine cranks out would make Reloaded look like a work a philosophical art. :disgust:

so so disappointed. I still sit here and wonder how we can go from The Matrix to Revolutions (devolution) if the wach brothers wrote this whole thing out.....i swear something must have mentally happened to them during this whole last segment.

the action is ok. rehashes of the same stuff....trinity frozen flying crane kick, guns fights around pillars. basically, it's terminator 3 with the matrix theme.

the ending, total cop out. one of those "happy" type endings when it really shouldn't.

i dunno. another cash cow ruining the original.

just saw it and it fusking ruled. i dont knwo what all you peopel that think it sucked are looking for but this just ruled. badass fight scenes good story, it was just awsome

and teh last scene was just amazing with neo and smith sooooo sweet
